I agree and I'd love too but it seems that most pass. rides are taken and I don't have a lid, nor do I know where to get one from...

Seek out a big northern bloke in a Silver Octy RS and i'll happily take you round for a few laps :)

Thanks Geoff... ;)

I've only been around Anglesey as a passenger myself, so once i've done a few laps feel free to shout :)

It is amazing!

But only 1.09 miles long if memory serves me right

Ive done a few laps, infact id say about a million! give or take 10

the spare one is a medium so providing you havent got a massive head you should be able to come out for a little spin with me!

Count's Jon out then. ;)

 Think I'll need some fairly empty track time to get used to the circuit as well... Then probably let Jon show me a few lines, then whatever the day brings!

Hello All, Hope I can get me 68 octavia van ready for the track day.Just getting it there will be a task, what with 5am start an all that..

How many of ya are going..

All the best Jay Ivey...

Darn spotted!

Yes the start was quite good fun :)

She has more power now as well

Well Anglesey aint the Canonball but am sure it will be just as much fun!

We only went down as far as Dover. That was a bit of a scream though!

Im glad Anglesey isnt the cannonball run, as most of the entrants got lost trying to find the way to the M25!!!

Ive still got the cannonball sticker on the car as well :)

Damn!

Due to circumstances beyond my control - my Octy is not going to be able to make it to the track day :(

I'll still be coming (in the BM) but only as a spectator now so my place on track is now available to anyone that wants it - PM me as soon as poss. First come first served! It cost

Well another fantastic Briskoda gathering made even more special by the venue. I can't believe how well everything went, the food, the weather on Sunday, the scenery, oh and Pikey 1.

Many thanks to Pete (Mellow) for organizing the accommodation and food.

I hope everyone enjoyed them selves drivers and spectators alike, must have been cold out there.

Apologies to anyone that was daft enought to be a passenger, must get some slicks.

Where shall we go next? :)

I agree with everything Des had said - a quality weekend in all departments

Next venue - Spa?

Where shall we go next? :)

Angelsey p'raps?

Croft??? 14 miles from my home sounds better than 222 :( Plus some git had decided to close the access road to the A19 and then the A1 suddenly became a car park and THEN the road from Darlington to the A66 was blocked by two bobbies - didn't they want me to get home?!?!?!

Oh yeah, agree with the comments regarding the day... another successful Briskoda jaunt :)

It was superb, I really enjoyed myself... (even though I left early to watch the football! :o )...

Thanks to ColinD and C.J. for the passenger rides...

Ere, it's alright for you Saxo drivers but I have a Nutter B*****d turbo barge or so Book-a-Track would have you believe, that opinion soon changed. :D

Ah but's not a Japanese one like he was referring to :D

top day!

croft? cadwell? oulton? knockhill?

if we get adventurous then spa or paul ricard?

Top day :D

Enjoyed bimbling round in the taxi, one day I might work out how to pedal it round in a brisk manner :D

Hows your new GT3 Paul?

Agree with all the sentiments. The Mini was top class. Watching it from behind, with the wheels at a strange angle to the car, was a great reminder of how cars used to be - and how much tyres have improved :D

PS it wasn't in front ALL the time, either.

Somewhere south for the next one - Brands or Thruxton maybe.

It will give all the soft southerners a chance to go then as well as the hard southerners who don't mind driving up north.

How about Mallory Park 26th Feb 2005?
