Briskoda National Trackday 2

Featured Replies

After our exploits at Silverstone I feel the need for a proper trackday coming on, mainly cos I blinked and missed it.

So roll up and sign on for the Briskoda National Trackday 2.

By popular demand the venue is Anglesey Circuit, North Wales. Not one i've tried myself but as the track is about to be ripped up it may be our last chance. We will be booking through Book-a-Track on one of their open pit lane events so it will be open to the public. The date is Sunday 28th November and the cost is

I'm there!

And as long as the gentle drive out on the day before avoids the Horseshoe pass I'll probably come on that as well! :D

I'll have some of that!

Put me down aswell...... Although Mrs Jimmy reserves the right to enforce non attendance at a whim.

Count me in. I'm up for a drive as well.

Indeed you do need to book with book a track which is a three stage process, registering with them, booking the event and settling your account, a post here is not suffice.

It is a great circuit, great for beginers, C.J's and spectators.

As Des eluded to there are some other gentle activities that weekend, the details of which will be published later. Just have to hope it's stable weather...

Des, are you trying to bankrupt me?

I'll be there, with car & camera for the Track. Not sure about saturday though.

For anyone who has never been, it's a cracking little circuit. Fairly tight & twisty with some nice corners. Should be pretty easy for beginners with the only "awkward" bit being the hairpin at the top of the circuit....where i shall lay in wait with the camera...

I had the pleasure of being taken around in Jon's old RS and can't wait to have a crack at it myself :)

Incidentally, i've been told (By Colin IIRC) that this will be one of the last chances to drive Anglesey in it's current form, as they're ripping it up and re-designing, so get in quick :)

NOTE !!!!!

Theres is a track day at Anglesey on the saturday too. Make sure you book the correct day !! :)

If it dont clash with having my rugrat will book asap, oh and taxman coughs up the cash he owes me!!!

I might be there to watch it (depending on little sprog), but can't unfortunately drive...

Is it me, or is there a fair amount of sandbagging going on in regards to the state of tune of certain cars. 180 Bhp indeed :peepwall:

Q, passenger laps are always a possibilty...don't forget your lid if you come ;)

And a warning to Fabia owners... (not wanting to scare you off..) the Hairpin at the end requires major brake performance. :D

must get me fluid sorted :o
