Fraid not had to extra to upgrade to that unit.

Nice looking car - looks like the MDI lead gives you full ipod connectivity and menus on screen - going to have to price one up for my MFD3 now

It does indeed give full ipod control

Only problem is that the MDI lead costs £150 plus another £25 for the ipod adapter.

Have to balance that against the fact I've got the hard drive, mp3 DVD discs which hold 4.7Gb each, and the SD card slot.

2Gb SD cards on www.7dayshop can be bought for £3.79, so for £175 I could get 92Gb worth of space, and I've only got a 80Gb ipod.

It's a shame that the MFD3 can't play ipod videos - if it could I'd definitely consider it - I wonder if it's the sort of thing that could be cured by a software update

pretty but pricey.

With the offers on the A3 at the moment you can have a 1.9tdi sport for a little over £200 a month at 5.1% apr. I know you probably lose some toys with the Audi, but it's odd when the 'premium' brand appear more desperate to discount their cars than the middle-brand alternative.

I agree Audi has supposedly the better brand, but no toys and couldn't live with that rattley old 1.9 diesel unit, time that was retired.

That makes my car look basic! Nice car - enjoy.

Lovely motor. Very well specced to boot! Looks a good place to spend time.

Still to grow on me have the mk6's.

I'll get back to you in a year. :)

yeh, I noticed it's the 105bhp one since posting that message as well!

Yes it s a nice car, so so so refined these new Golfs, makes you think your driving a limousine.

Very nice , Im a fan of the Mk6 , I wasnt sure at first but I've seen a few in the metal now and I think its a nice looking car , especially the front end.
