There are alot of very small tweaks, other than the obvious change in header colours.

Anybody on a tabbed browesr should notice one fairly soon...page titles ;)

Sorry no walrus planned for tonight; maybe a divorce but no wild animals.

Points rasied thus far are noted. Any others?

I'll leave it on for a little longer, try and convince you it's the same...which it nearly is, if you are only looking at the forum pages.

CJ - Green blobs ? White tick next to user name shows if someone is online if that's what you mean.

Yes I know to what C.J. Refers...two secs C.j. See I looked right past that. ;)

Green blobs NOW please! They were excellent!

Ticks on the threads you'd posted on where easier to see too.

Not going to take much notice of me though are you.......

THE computer numpty

I'm finding it much easier to navigate around the site, Colin, and I like the layout of the Forums page which is where I spend most of my time. Nice.

Are you not going to have a front page with a nice large topical picture Colin ?

It's gone and I miss it (I normally set them as my wallpaper)

I have to agree with CJ .............I liked the green blobs too :D

Green blobs back.

@Stahap, possibly but at present I am totally overwhelmed with monthly chores. If I have time I will re-instate.

A bulk of these changes are also fixes/navigational from comments and designing other far larger sites, which over time will be better. The site is growing and if you add up all the navigation slots, you'll be paging down a long way. The search engines will also be a little more welcome :D

Not in the top 100 for some.

RE change to other theme, some changes have to happen, the old one will come back in a fortnight or so if no serious bugs are found with this one. BUT it will be a subset of this layout, so old icons/images but layout will be on this style, that is dynamic naviagtion. Sorry there are to many steps forward but I'll see what can be done.

We have spent alot of time working on this to make it as user friendly as possible, change is never good. But some times it can be better...As always more than happy to be prooved wrong...Should be a tadge faster aswell, even more so when I phatom out the last problem I have :D

And if my memory serves me correct, which it usually doesn't ;) you've nicked those suitcases with black splodges on them to tell you you've already posted on that thread, so clear off,..... from the style you had 6 flippin months ago, you big fraud! :D

So that's progress is it? You see, us numptys, we notice little things like that!

You do a great job Col

 Green blobs not back in west Cheshire yet Col.

Sendin' them by post?

Crtl + F5...your browser has cached them.

He's right, you know ... ;)

@CJ - what ticks were those then? Never noticed em. Shows how different people use this thing in different ways. :rubchin:

Oh deep happiness...they are back!

Now the splodges on the suitcases please! Back to arrows!

Excuse my non technical language!

Having to widen the page to read all the script now too.

Crtl+f5 again Colin....to be fair just transfered them so sorry.

No no, don't apologise, really chuffed at what you're doing. Top geezer!

Glad you got rid of that beardy avatart too..too spooky that!

I see the ticks now. Funny I never noticed em before, or knew what they meant. They do look more modern than the older stylee ones tho. Good call CJ.

Having to widen the page to read all the script now too.

Can you explain that a little more Colin?

This is tested for 1024 forum renders within the bowser, that is no scroll bars...

Grey bearded man more spooky than a talking car called KITT?

Umm fair point...

In case anybody has not noticed I feed on feedback...most take sweeties, I take feedback, keep em coming :D Late I know, I look forward to a hearty breakfast.

See, numptys see things differently sometimes! We have our use's sometimes..it's the little things that count IMHO.

Oh by the way..last post box seems to have vanished now, but if you bash the mouse on where it was, it still works! Fantastic!

CJ - what ticks were those then? Never noticed em. :rubchin:

Nick, Where the post symbol is / was, was ticked if you'd done a reply on that thread. Now it's a box with a black blob in it, or not as the (suit!) case may be if you haven't replied, if you get my somewhat hazy drift!

can i be picky?left side of the page seems to be too wide,so having to scroll right to read all threads, would it be possible to narrow the forum and global naviagtion boxes slightly?or am i looking at the site in the wrong res?

Jason,

Navigation and forums are the same size, however on smaller resolutions it can't now shrink owing to the global search field. The navigation bar is actually fixed width, the forums float to fill the remaining space.

If you could specify your browser and resolution I'll test it, sounds like a small rendering bug if above 800x600. Anybody else got horizontal scrolling issues?

Yes Col....would be me again ey! Sorry!

Think i said last night, I'm having to broaden the page horizontally to read all the script.

Bit like when a picture has been uploaded onto a thread.

Oh, and the green blobs have disappeared again.

I guess you are you viewing in 800x600?
