Just seen the first add at 20.30 on Sky one during Enterprise, Looks promising I think.

About the same time(ish) on Ch4 - not bad...

Damn , does this mean ill have to watch that 'Celebrity' ****e on ITV?...lol

I'm not watching ANY of that thing on the off-chance of seeing a koda ad, sorry :nono:

I saw fishing earlier this evening! :)

another Skoda trueism.... Thx for hosting ColinD

Actually not a bad ad at all... Very subtle.

Not that inspiring I didn't think. Also reminded me of another campaign some time ago where the car kept creeping into shot and everyone was amazed that the owner could afford it. (Or something along those lines). Can't remember what the brand was though so it didn't work too well.

Thought the ad was ok ... but it would have been better if they had actually shown much of the car instead of it being hidden in the bushes :(

Saw this in the middle of either Dream Machine or Fifth Gear last night - was rather less impressed than I expected to be. VEEEEEEERY understated - if you didn't happen to be an Octy owner you could have missed the car altogether.

And another thing - does anybody in this country except koda Marketing pronounce it OK-TAR-VI-AH ?

I think it really is pronounced Oc-tar-via . When at the dealer this is what they call it also.

I've heard the Fabia called a Far-bi-a too. Maybe it's people who know about proper

Czech pronounciation.... :D

So you don't get the Superb ad staring Adriana Skleranikova-Karembeu? I guess it's a greek production, a good one nevertheless. Check the pictures http://www.skoda.gr/news/170403.htm. As for the plot, well it focuses on everything being small for large people (like Adriana is) for whom the new Superb is compensating.

Hmm...no we get a guy in a factory sticking badges on cars instead! :(

The advert for Axe deodorant is also a lot better than the equivalent

Lynx advert here!

Otheos , it all looks Greek to me - was going to add a wink - but the emoticons have disappeared !

Mellow,

Nobody tells me these things!

Off to investigate this most bizzare event...I always use quick reply.

Now I recall, I disabled them for this forum, as they appear on the front page...wonders never cease...

Sorry Colin , thought you probably had enough on your plate just now to be worried about a few errant emoticons !

,

like I said, just the pictures :)

The badge sticking ads were not bad, and the "vandals" swapping badges on that fabia in the mall parking was not bad at all.

Still, Skleranikova (which is Slovakian, not Czech) is a better place to lay your eye on an ad :D
