i think im going to shelf the idea for the time being anyway. Just thought the VRS being an RS and it all being VAG thought it might sit ok. Reference not being able to afford an Audi RS- I use to own one. Went for something a bit more sensible if thats alright with you. :P

Well I think I ruffled a few feathers with this thread. Jesus!!! Dont get me wrong I love my little Fabia and love the fact I have a Skoda, Just was thinking about trying something a bit different styling wise and wondered wot people think. Badges I know is an obvious way but we all take mods off other cars because they are better. Cupra splitters, porsche rims, lexus lights(not that I would) etc. I do value your opinions though so thank you all. Little fib about the RS aswell really. I did have a TT RS as I bought it as a CAT D,repaired and sold it on so my name is officially on the log book. Insurance wouldnt pay out to the bloke because of his mods so bought it on the cheap because he couldnt afford to get it repaired. Small profit later and a house and car to show for it makes me a happy man:D back to the drawing board to think of something a bit more original styling wise then.

What about debadging it and removing rub strips?

If you don't like the badges, get it de-badged, does look quite good IMO.

apologies, been reliably informed by the friend who helped me fix the tt that is was a 3.2quattro. Sorry for the cofusion for those out there. Basically was the unofficial RS model of that mk according to him to. I wouldnt like to comment lol

I can only think of 2 acceptable badge mods.

1) Remove the vRS badge full stop for a "cleaner" look.

2) Replace it with a 1.2 badge. Good if you want to further the Fabia as a stealth car. Perhaps in conjunction with replacing the alloys with steal wheels, and adding a "baby on board" sticker.

P.S. , That's not to say a Fabia can carry a baby before anybody starts........ People can be so sensitive.......

I think its a great idea why the other day i saw a toyota supra with a nismo badge on it, turned out no part of the car was nismo or nissan, but hey we laughed!

No point in turning it into something its not, unless you did manage to stick the Bi Turbo V10 in it with 4 Wheel Drive???? Now thats something I would love to see.

I think that badge on the Octavia looks smart.

its not advertising the car is something it isn't, the Fabia is also an RS so why is not ok to use a different badge from a different car?

would be a totally different arguement if someone went the whole hog and stuck RS4 or whatever, but i remember a while back i seen someone use a porsche RS badge, didnt suit the Fabia all that well but the Audi RS badges are smart.

i quite like the look and as ive got a RS4 badge in my room have been thinking bout it alot
