Hello,

I am Mark, a Fabia owner from East Anglia. I was introduced to this forum by Alex Davis sometime ago, but have not had time to register and get on board. I also have a Volvo V70, for space reasons, and will probably have to sell my Fabia as I am a student and two cars is a bit much. I look forward to having a Superb TDi in the future though - it is a shame there is not an estate version. I had contemplated waiting until the Roomster became availalbe (if it does), but time was against me. The Fabia has been great fun to have though, and totally reliable.

There we go, my thoughts on Skoda, by way of an intro.

Not at all - but they should be too busy working to be messing about with cars, let alone multiple ones...

can't be a proper student if he's got enough money to have 2 cars. that money should be squandered on beer by the 2nd week.

I think his user name is Alex, maybe no longer a regular poster, but I had heard he organised meets in the Derby area. We unfortunately lost touch after I left that workplace, and it only recently occured to me to look for him on here.

The two car thing, a source of amusement to you all is a temporary thing. I am in many ways not your typical student at all, being older than most, married and with two kids. Unfortunately, that compromises the beer drinking, but there is still time for Rugby.
