  • Picked up the new VRS: 2013 Fabia VRS by Graeme_Smith, on Flickr

  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

  • modified the cup holder     It's now a hobnob holder

The boot lid doesn't hit the garage door any more :)

So it's win win!! All you gotta do is get the front down to match it and your done.

I topped up the washer fluid, filled up the water/meth tank, and flashed a new trial remap on to the ECU. Went out for some fun and it felt a bit quicker :D

Drove "Freddie 2" to work left it in underground car park, drove home. Annoyed a Golf GTDi cos he couldnt beat me on trunk Road LOL

This is on a slight upward slope.

SWMBO is very concerned about the ride height. I am a bit, too! 25mm lower at the back on the maximum setting.

Your car must be the best example ever, I am always in awe of the work you do on it  , I just wish you were my neighbour and if you ever got bored you could play with mine! how is it for insurance in NZ for all your mods, I nearly cried when I saw what that dog had done to your screen washers :S

:blush::)

I almost cried too :(

Insurance is still cheaper than UK - every time I call to add mods there's no extra - though not every little thing is declared.

Rotated the wheels

Fueled it for the first time in just over a month!

Today I have fitted a polo rear wiper and a mk2 vRS grill badge to the SE - very happy with the subtle results B)

Achieved 183bhp on the rollers

removed rear fabia n vrs badges and also put a polo rear on this week whoop..

I fitted cruise control to someone elses Fabia does that count?

Boca will get washed tomorrow if the weather is ok.

Broke the stereo!

Had mine washed!! it was nasty after so many days of rain....

I set the clock :)

And switched to winter tyres.

set the clock, filled it up and then brought the slot machine home in it - amazed that the Fab was able to carry such a big bit of kit in the back and still loads of room around it!

Nothing today, but over the weekend I took her on a rolling road, where I got 90.5BHP from the 1.4TDI, washed and polished and changed the clock.

Took (ugly Beti) the Yeti to visit friends in Southern Germany....

Lots of driving around the Black Forrest...

Then a couple of trips to the local German Skoda dealer to pick up some non UK available bits...

Then off to find some snow in the Swiss Alps for some well deserved 'playtime'...

Did you take your wheel trims off so they would not be damaged in the snow?

De-painted the Chrome-grille on my Fabia.

The paint didn`t stick very well, and was quite flaky from stone chrips.

It looked quite bad, so is now back to stock.

They are my winter set of wheels so no trims. I prefer the honest and functional look if Im honest.:giggle:

That is how skodas used to be<my Dad had 3 Estelles> they did not have full trims, more like plastic hub caps!

Beautiful scenery by the way
