  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Getting the vrs ready for winter starting with some bosch aero wipers and a new rear wiper and some propper washer fluid :)

Plenty more to do....

Stalled it for the first time and found out it beeps at you to let you know........ I thought the lack of engine noise would have been a good enough clue but the guys a Skoda must have made it beep at you as a kind of p**s take.

Maybe they expect Skoda drivers to be deaf old duffers !

The day mine stalls means my DSG has blown up.

Changed Back number plate as it was water damaged and then fiddled with the stereo as i do not want to keep switching the unit on and off ... thinks i may need to google how to fit it properly .

Fitted ring 100% brighter bulbs as my new LED sidelights made them look yellow

.....and??

Whiter?

or still yellow?

washed and polished the skoda again and wondering where the mystery leak under the car is coming from??

gave it a well deserved wash and wax...

Tried to reduce the 'yellow' tint on the plastic stuck on rear sill guard and failed! :( Stands out on a white motor!

Fitted a superpro bushed dogbone mount and a new piece of silicone pipe with some mikalor clamps so it won't be popping off again anytime soon :D

lost feeling in my fingers replacing the header tank in the cold

Phoning the skoda dealer to get the Fabia in for the weekend as I have a leak from my oil sump on the car :'( :'(

My drive is like a blooming rainbow when it rains!

took my Nokia mic off the A-pillar and tucked it away in the OEM grille hole near the cabin lights.

Drove it for the very last time.......... Which brings me to the point of asking can we have a thread entitled "What did you do to your wife's Skoda today?" created now please. :giggle:

Cheers

Dave.

Drove it for the first time in 3 days and it smelt funny.

Found that a water bottle in the boot had been leaking and nearly a litre of water had soaked into the boot carpet.

Pulled it out and hung it on the washing line - which entailed unbolting a seatbelt and removing the rear seats!
