What did you do to your Skoda today?

Featured Replies

They look good... I am considering buying some myself... are they clip on? cup like? :-)

They come with a tube of glue, expensive but give a bit of bling when you get in

  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Well after 4000 miles of having him I finally took my Yeti for his first wash - James of Allams had him washed once in that time when the towbar got fitted! The steel winter wheels are in fact gloss!!! emoticon-0136-giggle.gif I never quite realised that!

Tinkered with VCDs

Enabled 2nd rear fog light

Delayed Headlight washers (Thanks Steve)

Coming Home and Leaving Home activated and tested :giggle: (the neighbours think I'm mad wandering in and out with the laptop)

Looked at my nice new shiney Brembo brake discs which arrived today, also ordered another couple of mods :giggle:

Got this sprayed and fitted to the car

Does yours foul the aerial when you open the boot? Mine does, so I'm going to fit the VW shark fin aerial.

Yep, time for a shorter aerial (once I have the money)

Springs are getting fitted tomorrow

Good stuff.

Today I tinted my vRS foglights with yellow Lamin-X, and fitted Osram Nightbreaker bulbs in them. Hopefully fitting them tomorrow. Sourced a G60 flywheel and VR6 clutch too.

Glad I bought them springs, as the car sit's much better. Garage even said that I need bigger wheels

Did an oil change

Fixed the rear near side passenger door carrier and applied my new Briskoda sticker to the bonnet :)

I put some M10 nuts on the rarb brackets as they fell off and was making a knocking noise. Initially I thought the knocking noise was something much worse. :giggle:

Washed both Octy's

Fitted my Brembo brake discs & drooled over my new Decat pipe

312mm Brembo disc's with Tarox Strada Pads :thumbup:B)

Snow foamed, washed, wiped, cleaned the wheels, dressed the tyres and topped up the Z8. Filled the washer bottle, topped up the oil, checked the coolant fluid and hoovered.

Pumped the tyres to 32psi and put in £70.00 of diesel (!!!!!!!! :S !!!!!!) Blooming Octavia vRS

Let us know how it goes with the decat pipe! My mate got one of those also and then couldn't get it to fit! I haven't tried to fit mine yet

Fitted my tinted yellow vRS foglights, only to discover that the electrical connections are different :@

:finger: to whoever thought giving the vRS different connections was a good idea. Off to the dealers I go...again...

Does look nice though.

Glad to hear it!

I'm too tight to pay $30 for an impact socket to use once for 5 minutes but an M12 bolt did the job perfectly.
