  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Don`t forget to order through Eurocarparts ( Briskoda sponsor) put in code BRISK25 at the checkout to get 25% off

Plenty today... adjusted speaker wiring from the amp, fitted new foglight bulbs and sidelights, fitted 10mm rear wheel spacers. Also removed that irritating bit of plastic that blocks air going to half the intercooler.

Next week: New sub box and maybe the S3 strut brace!

Fitted new style Fabia lettering to the back of my car and removed front v badge to add new one but hit a snag and accidently broke my new badge, so new one needs to be ordered and back to the drawing board. ;)

Been round the whole car with a carefull eye checking for dings or dents as the dent repairer is up my way tomoz.

None found!! Money stays in pocket for now.

Also re-aligned headlights.

As SWMBO has been away for the weekend I decided to wash the car today and ended up going err, a little bit mental.

- Pressure washed it twice with TurtleWax Pressure Washer fluid

- Two bucket hand wash

- Coat of SRP

- Coat of Collinite

- Wheels washed with brushed and mit washed

- Tyres and exterior trim dressed

- Windows cleaned inside and out

- Exhaust tip polished

- Interior hoovered and interior plastics wiped down with a damp cloth

- Seats wiped down with leather conditioner

- Engine bay wiped down with a bank cloth and engine cover etc. dressed

Took about 4 hours - I'm knackered now! Think i put the collinite on a bit too thick, took some right elbow grease to shift it all off!

Sorted the washer pipes out so pulling the lever to wash the wndscreen now washes the windscreen instead of the rear hatch.

Spent 40 minutes trying to lengthen the rear screen hoses to suit the new pump but eventually gave up and ran a whole new hose from the pump to the connection at the rear engine bulkhead (which took all of ten minutes - why oh why didnt I do this to start with... :(

Anyhow all now working as it should
