What did you do to your Skoda today?

Featured Replies

Jetwashed what looked like 1/2 tonne of salt & road grime accumulated after 2 weeks of Winter motoring off the car.. :)

Done the same as above on the mk1,

will do the mk2 tomorrow.

  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Filled it with fuel

Cleaned the " Sport " today, two nice clean Skoda's on the drive

Yesterday, got my pimp tints on! :)

Only gone for a light smoke all round so not a chavvy look

But worse came when i went to go start the start and drive home, battery was flat :( so put the charger on for 10 mins or so, she fired into life with every possible yellow warning light on(power steering, esp, tyre pressure ect) :wonder: drove off down the road towards Skoda dealership, they all went off..hmm the mystery!

nothing today, the wife took it to work.........again

Washed it yesterday and got it taxed

Fitted x2 new Halfords Super Brilliance headlight bulbs. Look good so far, though haven't used them in the dark yet, just checked them in my work car park.

In the last week I got the windows tinted, had the paint work repaired and put on the 'it's a skoda. honest' sticker.

Got it MOT'd (126,000 miles and 11 years old and through no problem following a bit of work over the last couple of weeks) and then taxed it... but at least the latter was only £115 (Had to tax the Mazda last month and that was £215!!!

Sold it.

Roll on next Thursday.

Haven't done anything but my new rear interior lights and vRS gearstick badge arrived today, so more of a 'Things to do to my Skoda'. ;)

Drove it to work as I got up late :(

Also passed its warrant of fitness (MOT) after three visits! Had to find paperwork to prove that the FMIC met the requirements for not needing a low volume modification cert!

Looks much better Rob

Fitted new vRS/numbered badge on top of gearstick this morning.

Ok so it was yesterday, but I had Shark stage 2 software installed. :)

Managed to remove 3 months worth of tar that had become part if the car as Im sure it weighed it down a little!

A quick polish but no chance of wax so a squirt of Demon Shine before the light ran out!

Washed it again and will be waxing tomorrow if the weather's good.

Washed it yesterday and put my " it's a Skoda honest" sticker in the rear windscreen. Looks a lot better now it's clean!

Gave mine a wash as a treat for the last 3 days of driving to southern ireland & back, 1000miles,2 ferry trips in 3 days. Car didnt miss a beat.

cleaned the windows on it, was going to wash it but never had time,
