Well I had my droplinks fitted, new bushes and Koni fsd dampers today. The difference is staggering. Thanks to Peter once again at ABC for his magic , one bolt sheared off whilst doing the anti-roll bar bushes. Great some ride and sublime handling now, a few phone pics , not the best old, and new post-53584-0-81883100-1326992919_thumb.jpg post-53584-0-95035700-1326992926_thumb.jpg post-53584-0-34384300-1326992934_thumb.jpg post-53584-0-82494600-1326992945_thumb.jpg Sorry no pics of the bushes

You happy with it then Alan?

Good work Alan - should ride nicely now :)

Did you buy in the parts beforehand? Looking to do droplinks, bushes etc fairly soon so interested in what you went for, and how much you paid.

Oh YES it is MEGA :giggle:

Fitted a CG lock.

What a difference, it's like having a race harness!

Like a clunk klip from the 70 and 80s

Like a clunk klip from the 70 and 80s

The difference being the CG Lock is to hold you tight :)

The klunk klip appears to do the opposite :)

I got my even dirtier today!!! Does that count??? Struggling to find time to clean her atm :(

Fitted some floor mats to mine as it didn't come with any. Then at the same time realised I may have a slight leak as the footwell carpets are pretty wet :|.

Urinated all over 3 Beemers in it!

An X5, Z3 & a 520d!

Not proud of myself, Just feeling smug!

Oh and the indicators on the 520 workedemoticon-0104-surprised.gif

Dont go to crazy on corners :p

cant believe it got a huge crack in windscreen , booked in for tommorow, that is the only claim I will be making . Have to be driving like a tool to reach the boundaries

Fitted a nice new dogbone mount, gears are a delight to change now. Definitely recommend doing it as it only takes half an hour and is quite cheap.

Pulled the dust cover off the VRS and fired it up, ready to take it home for the Essex meet on Sunday.

Very shiny. Shame it looks like rain on the way home and possibly for the meet too.

Also struggling to find time to clean it. Got some new Bilt Hamber clay on the way so hoping to clean it Monday

Think with the current weather, everybody might be struggling to clean it for a while!

Nice work Alan, are you still running the PI springs mate, and how much did the FSD's set you back?

Cleaned the air filter. and put diesel in it.

Collected some of its new part from the paint shop. Also attacking another new part with a dremel :o

Replaced the storage shelf under the radio with the drawer. :) Also replaced the standard head unit with a Sony one the other week.

Finally got my number plate sorted out.

Washed the Sport, only a quick rinse, done in 20mins. And put a new rear wiper blade on.

Filled up with diesel when I saw the cheapest non supermarket stuff I've seen for a fortnight, £139.9 at Esso :S

Washed it fitted one new part and spent far too long trying to take the front end appart. Finally giving up after finding out skoda designers are idiots when it comes to maintainability

Filled up with diesel, hopefully the last fill up of the month :)
