  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Piston broke

(say it phonetically fast and that's me after Xmas & New Years :D)

I washed it/vac'd it and dressed all the plastics and tyres on Monday in -c temperatures, it then sat on the drive until today looking very nice and shiney, went for a drive today and now its dirty again :(

Today I installed a Newsouth power gasket to my Octavia vrs. See here for how it's done.

piston - luverly state to be in :giggle: :giggle: -Trouble is that next comes broke . :smirk:

Cleaned the snow off it, again :dull: started it up and took it for a drive out

Jet washed the snow off the roof and blasted ton's of the stuff from under the wheel arches !, snowed again this afternoon so back to square one !

Alan

Despite light drizzle, snow foamed, rinsed, snow foamed, washed, rinsed, wiped and hoovered out my Octi  and topped up the tyre pressures

Will do Mrs Stigs Ferbi tomorrow, hopefully ;)

It's a secret - all will be revealed shortly ;)

Did Mrs Stig............... and cleaned the car.......... :giggle: oh hang on...... :wonder:

Washed & waxed, and then took apart boot trim and put it back together once I found that screenwash pipe was connected. Think the pump's had it...

washed and fitted a new pollen filter

Put on some cheap wheel trims which I stuck Skoda stickers on. Pikey or what.

Washed it for the first time since October half term. Came up okay considering.

Gave it a quick wash, then got busy with the vinyl wrap.

First up the Cupra splitter

Then got a bit carried away and did the centre console.

Sold it, I'm now car less

Rather liking that splitter now GSPK.

Washed BOTH cars yesterday, what a pain, but we got there :(

Got the balancing sorted out over the weekend

Washed it, hoovered and plastics dressed, gave it 2 coats of wax with Megs No16 and the wheels a coat of Jetseal.

Took it to the menders for a new brake servo and received a 2nd set of 312 calipers and carriers for refurbing and fitting as mine are looking very lame B)

Drove 160 miles in it, in the rain, including a stretch on the M25 between the M3 and the A12, which I don't think can be classed as driving, more parking with intermittent movement.

I did bugger all to it.

Mine passed its warrant of fitness (MOT)

I had to disconnect my boy-racer DRLS as they're 3cm too close to the headlights apparently!
