  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Bought mine a spare wheel off ebay, had a tyre fitted to it today and washed it as well.

Washed it, and polished it as well. thats two days of attention it has had now :D

Nothing.

Did a rather thorough oil change. Got oil hot, drained it - flushing oil, new filter, drained - cheap oil, new filter, drained - good oil, new filter. So that's 3 filters removed.

Yep 2 filters went in the oil drain bowl and sploshed the hot oil everywhere and the third almost went.   Maybe I should give this up as a bad job :D

Changed the O2 sensor - hopefully that will cure my CEL.

cleaned and polished the car

Cleaned the car and re applied Aquapel to the front side windows.

Still considering a new battery and a new pair of xenon bulbs, mine are getting very tired after 116k.

Finally got the car back together after nearly losing a finger the other week trying to put the gear box back on after instaling an ECS Stage 1 clutch kit with lightened flywheel

Thanks to Ben at Shark Performance, I went from this :-

No paddles, no multi-function

to this :-

Flappy paddles, and working multi-function buttons

Very nice  Pity about the badge though

Edit: Just noticed the red lighting on the buttons

Just jealous really :D

It must be weird modding for less power! What's left to do now?

Put my new decat pipe in a safe hiding place B)

bought some new front discs and pads. Will fit when it stops p*ssing down.

Today I abused my Skoda :(

Rubbish day at work and without really thinking I was leaving the work car park, front tyres lit up on a stone cold engine

I'm reporting myself to the RSPCS* right now...

Swapped over my O2 sensors in the hope of clearing that CEL, re-wired my DRLs and gauges properly.

Then scraped the bumper reversing out of my garage, and kerbed the back wheel parallel parking. Doh!

When to Unit18, got a 60k service and a remap

Got it washed

Washed it, meant to hoover it out put ran out of time. And will be off in a minute to put some diesel in it.
