Firstly, many thanks to all who contribute to this forum I have found it extremely useful as we went about making our decision to buy. Been looking to go back to a 4X4 for a few months although we are very happy with our current car – very economical and reasonable to drive. (But no longer suited to our travel needs)

If I am honest, I was reluctant to go to the Skoda dealer but was persuaded by the good reviews and the result of the TOP GEAR magazine award. We have five dealers to choose from, within 20 miles, but after a bad start with one, we ventured to another. After an initial look, we asked for a test drive that covered high speed, winding roads, country lanes and speed bumps. The sales person took us on a route that matched our request and I guess we were out for nearly an hour. We decided to take the plunge and agreed a PX for our car and the deal was done.

Ordered 12th April informed yesterday that the car is scheduled to be built in week 22 (end May) with an expected ETA at the dealer mid June

Yeti 2.0 TDi SE 4x4 (140) Blue

Took delivery of my Yeti yesterday. Drove back 100 miles from the dealers in superb comfort and with a big grin. Delighted with my car!

I spent a lot of time on the forum reading posts and decided to take the plunge and buy a Skoda. I ran a Discovery 3 from 06 -09, parted company with that fantastic car when I retired and the company where no longer underwriting the fuel, road tax and insurance bill. Was trapped in the house for 3 weeks in January (don't off road much but live along a dirt track with a steepish dirt driveway) because of the snow and my van's inabilty to cope. Considered raiding my pension for a another Disco until I went to the dealer and found the prices!!! Dear me....

As a family of confirmed VW fans with two cars already (wife - new Golf 2.0tdi, daughter EOS FSi,) I thought I'd give the Cech badge a go. Absolutely delighted that I did. car sounds and drives like the superb new Golf, is roomy, has a fabulous radio I think. Discovered about SD cards on these forums so I "dropped" some tracks onto a card before leaving to pick up the car. On collection I slipped a 2gb card into the slot and presto a nice long list of selectable tracks. Oh and on top of all that it drives brilliantly and returned 48.6mpg yesterday even "tramming" it a bit ! So all in all delighted with my purchase which at half the price of Disco delights me no end!!!!! Look forward to reporting back on my adventures with the "SnoMo"

Cheers - nice to be here!

Next week???? my yeti it's ready in two month!!you very lucky!

I need it in a short time because i sold my old LPG fabia to a friend of mine (2500 euros).

So i choose among the availability in the italian central deposit.

This is the reason why I got an adventure instead of an active spendig more money than expected.

But today i've seen my little monster.

at the end, happy to have made this choice (at a good price, i think)
