Nothing fancy but she's a damm fine car

01 nov 2012 I am afraid to say that i have traded in the Yeti..... it was a hard decision to make but had to be done.... it was just too quick to handle driving in the icy weather and snow on the first winter i had it and not much better the next year. I know it is a brill car to dry in normal circumstances but i need a car that would get me to work safely .

I reckon somewhere someone has ordered lots of them for one reason or another. I've ordered quite a few but they seem to be taking a long time to get in stock.

Here are some more photos taken earlier today.

Very nice! Elsie looks lovely in the snow!

Mike yours is also the very first Yeti I've seen with the new shorter mid size aerial that I saw on all the Yetis at the Paris Motor show earlier this year! Mine had an old mile long one with the twirly bits around it. Never used it as I changed it to the stubby on before I even put the key in the ignition on the day I picked him up!

Short aerial a factor of having Columbus SatNav perhaps?

At the show all the Yetis had this aerial regardless of having a Columbus or not.

Erm, Mike, got any MORE pics ...... be nice to see inside the fuel filler cap!!!

ONLY JOKING! Haha (can't operate 'moty-cons from an iPad)

But seriously, great pics, great location, great EXTRAS too, and loads of them....., and the White SM is in his true colours.

If I'd one regret in my purchase, it would be that I chose the watery blue thingy, and not the beautiful Candy man.

And if I had to raise one quizzical eyebrow in your Daisy's direction, sorry, Elsie, it would be at the combination of the White with the Gobby interior. I think I would need to see it in the flesh to decide properly - so I will sit on a nearby fence like the one in one of your pics (could you post a pic of the fence I'd sit on for me, just to see if it would suit......) and postpone any definitive decision on that! The walnut implants that feature on another thread could look good against the lighter sand interior??

Thanks for posting, and giving us a chance to think of more things about our SMs - and enjoy your Vera.
