If you could choose only 1 of these 2 options, which would you go for?

Xenons = 900 Euro

Leather = 1800 Euro

Leather, because xenons aren't much use during the day :D

I'd go leather over xenons, as they're around the same price and you see and use the leather every time you use the car. The xenons on the other hand you only get the advantage of when it's dark and even then, they're not bi-xenons, so the full beam is still a traditional halogen bulb.

Saying that, I went with neither, as I'm a tight fisted Scot. :)

Not that much difference in cost here...

Xenons = £608.70

Leather = £695.65

(ex VAT)

I've got kids - Leather :-)

typo....

Xenon's because a leather seat will burn your **** & legs off when you sit on it in the summer & Xenon's won't make you sweaty either!

Seconded.

Wipe clean :thumbup:

Beginning to wish I'd opted for leather when i ordered last month, hadn't realised that option were VAT-free when I ordered...again for the child-friendly aspect...still she's only 3 months old so how much mess can she possibly make?! :o

Having had both before if i had to choose one over the other then it would be xenon's.

Leather is great for kids - until they put there feet on it (with a bit of gravel in their shoes :eek:) and scratch the leather! the best policy i find is not to let them eat or drink in the car to begin with, so cloth is not an issue.

Xenon's however are in a different league to halogens.

Having ordered both and if I had to choose between leather or Xenon's.

I would go Xenon's as the seats can be changed later in the cars life or a re-trim on the cloth seats.

Went fo both, but voted for Xenons. So much better & safer than standard if you do much night time driving. I went for Leather because of Kids & the VRs's silly white (?!) seat faces (if I didn't have kids they wouldn't have been a problem).

How mant times have you crashed in the dark because of your headlights?

Unless you live in the country and drive mostly at night go for leather.

xenons imo look r8 good

Definately go for the leather option, without a doubt!

Go for the leather and blow £25 on a set of Philips XTremes instead of £700 on the xenons

Not if you don't do a lot of night driving :P

Nope, but I wear shorts & heat will got straight through shorts and burn your butt & the back of your legs! :mad:

Go for the leather, it makes the inside of the car such a nicer place to be. Also order headlight washer system and you can upgrade to aftermarket HIDs at a later stage if you feel hard done by.

Will these bulbs work in the octy 2? I tried changing the rear number plate bulbs for led, but apparently the sensors read them as a fault!!

The bulbs work fine, but there is currently a bulb indicator light on the dash which I can't get rid of with VCDS for some reason. Have checked all bulbs, including indicators etc and they are all fully working
