My New VRS

Featured Replies

Well unfortunately the weekends little incident means my previous post with my new VRS has been lost so I'll re-post some pics again.

Impressed with the car so far, done about 250 miles on 1st tank of V-Power and am averaging 43mpg so far, not bad for a 2.0T.

Thanks to mikeSM56 who on Saturday enabled a few things via VCDS for me including:

1. Cornering Fog Lights

2. Teardrop rear wipe

3. Emergency brake hazards

3. Emergency brake hazards

Not heard of these before.

Tidy :D

Very nice...Roll on March!!

Very nice car

Have you actually noticed any difference having the cornering fog lights activated ? I didn't on the pre-facelift model

Nice!Though I would say that because it looks just like mine! What is the teardrop rear wipe?

Howzat? :)

The bowler's Holding the batsman's Willey - totally off topic but I just thought I'd carry on the cricketing theme.

Sim - I can't believe you haven't reached Skoda Mastertech level yet

Very nice I like the new RS badges on the seats and grille but why did they make the OCTAVIA badge on the boot soooo big?

Looks even better in the flesh! Cracking looking car.

Look great very nice, should have mine this Sunday

3. Emergency brake hazards

I thought that this was preprogrammed (Page 197 of the new manual)?

The brake light flashes automatically in case of an emergency braking at speeds greater than 60 km/h or with the intervention of the ABS, which lasts longer than 1.5 seconds. After the speed was reduced below 10 km/h or the vehicle was stopped, the brake light stops flashing and the hazard warning light system switches on. The hazard warning light system is switched off automatically after accelerating or driving off again.

Very nice car. Same color as mine CR RS. So far I have 4000 km. Everything works perfectly. Also, consumption is low (in comparison with Leon).

With greetings from Slovenia.

Slightly noticeable, does help though, maybe depends on driving position whether you notice.

Can you tell me what tyres are fitted as standard please?

Very nice, but have you messed with the colour saturation in photoshop or something?

Very nice.

Nope these are straight from the camera with no changes

Really!! you mean the swirl shapes in the body work are standard? Cool! :-)

Editing the numberplate has caused some distortion NOT colour saturation changes I would suspect
