One of my workmates spotted a black Octy vRS with blue lights behind the grill pulling somebody over on the M77 at the weekend - watch out in Glasgow and Ayrshire !

Naaa I slow down when I see an Octy to wave ;)

Only ever have arace with a car if you've talked to them..other wise just sit behind and be annoying. Although that theory does not hold with vascar; thats cheating.

i'm actually amazed at how many people think i'm a police car in the dark... must be that distance i maintain behind them or something...

you know the type..

bunch of chavs in a car and one in the back keeps looking back to see if your still there cause the drivers obviously bricking it. then they eventually turn off where they didnt want to just to get out the way.

with my gps pda and snooper stuck to the windscreen I have succsefully reduced the number of speeding motorists in the hertforshire area wich is highly amusing (for me) :D

I followed a chav in the Octy the other night as he went hurtling past me on the motorway. I had a white shirt and a black tie on too.

When he left the motorway so did I must have followed him for about five miles throught the villages and a few housing estates then got bored and went home.

I've never understood what the problem is with unmarked cars. They don't bother me in the slightest.

I know what you mean -especially as I drive a Xenon-equipped Omega with a PDA cradle attached to the screen. A white shirt and a dark tie always make it more effective!

Phil

cambs police have a black octy vrs as well.

have nearly made the mistake of flashing and waving at it several times!

there's an unmarked Yellow Octy vRS estate around the essex which i've seen and waved to,actually got a wave back once!!!!

Good old Strathclyde Polis. :thumbdwn: Years ago you learned to look out for dark blue 3 litre Capris with a YUS 8**S registration. You ignored them at your peril

There's an unmarked silver Octy vRS in the warks area. Seen travelling in the opp direction towards me the other day on the way to work.

Blue flashing lights in grille but with its headlights on (what seemed like full beam) I didnt actually realise it was a plod car until right up close.

You obviously havent been setup by them.

Saw an unmarked silver Octy vRS (54 plate) in Worcester yesterday, wonder if its the same one. It had pulled over a BMW, so can't be too harsh

At least there are not really that many vRS of either sort around Glasgow.

Should slightly increase our chances :D

I need to watch myself,(not that I am driving sloppy - I am just taking ever greater risks) I found myself at 115 on the M8 in the middle of the afternoon the other day. That would not be a good speed to be caught at :thumbdwn:

Cheers,

Ross.
