Candy White for vRS - Cost Option?

Featured Replies

  • Author

have to say the white cars I've had in the past have hid the marks well, but this was on older cars so the paint might be different.

Variable boot if no-one else post a picture I will take some of it.

I would really appreciate the photo of the variable boot. Am hoping to take a dsg for a test drive at the weekend but have heard nothing from Rainworth Skoda (waiting on Richard to get back regarding quote and test drive)

Many thanks

Another thing I've noticed is the number of cars that fly up behind me on the motorway and suddenly slow down - either they want to take a closer look at my white vRS or they think I'm the plod !!

I had a white vRS for a day's test drive and found it quite funny how people slowed down around me on the way down the motorway!

I really like it in white, though I wasn't brave enough to go for that colour.

Don't do it - they're getting far too common :giggle:

Here's the deal

White facelift ex-demonstartor vRS CR DSG hatch (59 plate) with xenons, bluetooth, Columbus, tints, black wheels, Eiback lowering springs, rear parking sensors, 3500 miles for my car (see sig) +£5k

I'll remove the MFD3 and anthracites before letting it go, and put the original 17's back on

Value of options alone on the hatch are about £3500

Vote now, and put me out of my misery

I wonder if you'd have said that if this shiny beast had been sitting on your drive Bryan. What a difference 4 weeks makes eh?

If I could afford it, I'd go to Skoda at lunch and order a white TSI vRS. I love the look of them!

If I could afford it, I'd go to Skoda at lunch and order a white TDI CR vRS. I love the look of them!

Thats what I like to see Babs - converted at last :giggle:

Pfft :p

If I was doing gazillion miles a year, I might consider a diseasel, for purely financial reasons :)

Otherwise... I'll stick with my money-pit V6 petrol!

I'm fickle like that - I'd have thought you'd have realised by now ! ;)

My candy white Passat had white primer.

The hatch and estate both look amazing in white, although I think the accessory spoiler is a must on the estate.

The anthracite is lovely, but will look dull compared to the race blue you already have. Be brave, white or YELLOW are both ace. :)

I'd go yellow :)

I don't think my dingle dangle bits are big enough to order yellow (I actually like the colour too).

Does anyone know if a facelift Octavia has actually been bought in yellow yet - if so, and if you are on here, WE WANT PICS NOW !

is it me or is the variable boot liner just a lined box sitting in the boot?

I meant a real-life, on the road, UK car, not the advertising blurb pictures that are generally available :|

Thanks for trying though John ;)

You need some mudflaps on this !

looks good, thanks for the boot shots, am wondering how I will benefit from this now? Will take a look in the dealers tomorrow.

In 14 short hours i'll get to see my new baby.

no problem, basically yes its just MDF or like covered in a carpet with a few hidges etc. Have I found it useful, as yet no but in all honest I've not actually used the octavia much due to the weather lately. Though I can see its uses. Is it worth the money.......I think you can get the parts and do it yourself for slightly less than the on the options price but that would have to be your own choice. It does come out sure you want the normal boot, just a simple turn on the anchor points and lift out.

I do indeed in mudflaps, I'm waiting to wash it but I dare as the drains are blocked again down the road so I dont fancy turning the road into a ice-skating ring!

Have to say now I've actually seen a FL in yellow its actually nice, would be tempted by one, though white is better lol

Now I'm debating the merits of the the boot gadge. Will try and take a look today.

Thanks all.

First real street pic of a vRS in yellow wins a Brucey bonus!
