Yeah, seeing as it's a 89/90 plate it's hardly pure even those bumpers and handles i'm sure must be retro fits?

I found this trying to see if you can get chrome hub caps for 5x100 steels..... but I didn't tell you that, Turns out you almost can't anyway though.

Maybe you can get plastic ones you can bond a set of merc/porsche hubs to? Seen it done a couple of times, but not sure on what style of steels.

It still looks like they have a couple of anvils too many in the boot. I despair for anyone who thinks that that's an improvement. How do you cross a speed-bump in that? It's a Golf. It doesn't deserve to be humiliated in such a fashion. It's a good, honest, useful car. It had so much more to give the world.

Yours looks odd at the front to me, but fine at the back. But it's your car, not mine, so I can't say my opinion of it should be particularly important to you!

Sorry Babs, slammed and stance on blatently stretched tyres is something you either like or don't like. It's a question of taste, not understanding, so there's nothing to "get".

That's what I was inferring. You obviously don't get it.

I used to be a 3door fan, but after having a 5door don't Think I'd go back to 3 or 2 unless it was the only option.

I have this debate with my mate Chris all the time as he has a C4.

I hate the 3door C4's... but love the curvy back of the 5 Door version.. plus, having 5 doors just makes driving mates and lugging stuff around allot easier!

That said, it tottaly depends on the car. take Golfs.

mk1 needs to be a 3 door

mk2 are cool in 3 or 5, I'd buy a 5 but like 3's just as much.

mk3 same as mk2

mk4 has to be 3 door, the 5 door looked fussy

mk5 has to be 5 door, 3 door looked odd like they forgot something and over compensated with door size.

mk6 has to be 5 door, and if ya wanna 3 door buy a Scirocco
