Tordoff massively better than Neate. Good first 2 races for Plato!

  • I'll always support Plato purely because he winds people up but has the skills to back it up, unlike a certain Chris James who has blocked me on Twitter. I didn't say word to him either With Turkingt

I think Rouse is a great driver but his numbers are flattered by the fact that his second title was inherited due to politics  and his 4th was almost a given since he had the only turbocar in the top

It will be interesting to see how this car preforms.

The Civic Tourer didn't do tool well compared to the hatch. The BMR VW CC's were pretty epic last year as the long wheel base and slippery shape suited most circuits.

But it's RWD which will suit Turkington (after getting his head around FWD again last season lol)

The only thing that concerns me is the Boxer engine, it's pretty unproven in NGTC spec.

Conclusion, it must be a pretty sweet deal to get a newly front running team to change car and engine from a proven package!

No Aron Smith then? I Bet Plato was happy to see the back of him.

I've read two things - one says they're a two car team - Jason and Colin and one that says it includes him and Warren. Hope it's just the two of them really as they don't need a roadblock.

I seem to remember reading something about how producing a good turbo boxer motor was technically quite challenging. Although this may have been referring to road car engines rather than 'no expense spared' racing units ? The lower C of G should help chassis set up.

Rob Austin to race new build BTCC Toyota in 2016 with Handy Motorsport - He's also going to run his Audi's in the feeder series linked above.

Jack Goff leaving MG for WSR BMW in place of Priaulx (who's gone to the works Ford GT effort in sportscars)

Who's in at MG?  They've signed a 3 year deal with Triple 8 but both drivers have left.

BMR's Passats and Insignia's should be out in the Junior series as well.

and in WTCC Tarquini has got a drive at... Lada (swapping with Rob Huff then)

BTCC 3rd works Honda for... Andy Neate...Who?...yes him!

I don't know what to expect really. His best championship placing so far in 6 sesaons is 16th with 79 points - in the same works MG Plato got 376 points in that year.

He's another roadblock.

Oh you're joking, why is he still even in the BTCC let along in a decent car. (Yes, money no doubt)

He's another roadblock.

I can't see why the Tidy One would make a decent roadblock; everyone it might be worth having him block will be ahead of him Shirley?

Sounds like he could be starting at the back a lot, granted.

Collard and Tordoff confirmed at WSR with Goff.

Mat Jackson back in at Motorbase   - could be his best title shot since he was 2008 runner-up.

Be interesting being partnered with Andrew Jordan

I think they're both seriously quick and so was the Focus last year - I hope the rules don't peg it back too far.

Am I following this right; Action Jackson and Mat Jackson  for Motorbase?

Andrew Jordan (Pirtek) and Mat Jackson (Duo) both in a Focus.

James Cole in seat 3 in the BMR instead of the "team player" that never listened to team orders and did his own thing. Looks like he'll be in an MG. Oh dear how sad.  :D

Quite ironic - I remember the "team player" blatantly crashing Plato's MG out at Knockhill (and getting away with it!)

So do I I think; certainly I remember having a "the biter bitten" reaction to the incident.

Just need to know now about Josh Cook and who's got Dave Newsham's seat.

Dave's gone to Rallycross full time instead so it ain't him.

Yes I'd heard
