Nice. I was sitting in my Octavia VRS in a petrol station on Saturday feeling quite good about it untill a new White FRS pulled in next to me. Made my car look a bit **** to be honest! Awesome cars, unbelieveable to drive for a FWD

The wheels are awful !!!

Cant say i'd be in any rush to buy one ! (not that i can afford one in the first place) ! :D

I'll order mine now !!!!!

Do they take buttons for them :S

I reckon that would be menacing in Pink :)

If thats matt black then I'd have one :D

101 destined for the UK as well. Seems we still like fords.

It's an RS500, it needs 500BHP !!!

Yes please!

The one I had a good drive in was FMC 1

Can't see what all the fuss is about, when a kid does this to his clungewagon you lot all laugh at it when ford do it its the best thing ever, its a proper piece of nasty tat, along with the normal one i would rather eat my own turd than drive this piece of ch4v rubbish!!

don't hold back Gary, tell it how it is

Generally, when said Chav does this to his car, its a 1.2 Nova, made with cheap fiberglass, with a TVR sounding exhaust.

I dont see how this is any different to a Suburu Impreza, or Mitsibishi Evo. Its a factory produced monster. Not to everyone's taste, if you want a subtle beast, buy a Golf GTI, or an Audi. Simples :)

but you're eyeing up Yeti's and worrying about how many scene points your stance is scoring... opinion=invalid :p :D

Even with tweaking, I just can see how any 350 bhp car can put the power down effectively or safely with FWD!

remember when the original Focus RS came out though. The 'experts' all said that anything over 200bhp was too powerful for a FWD car. The industry has got over the problem and moved on since then. And I'm sure that there will be more power running through FWD cars in the future.

Nice but would save£7k and get the standard car!

Oi! My first car was a 1.2 Nova! But it didn't have any fiberglass or sound like a tvr... I used to think it went like one though! (I.e it was constantly breaking down)

ive driven a couple stage 2+ ko4 cars all in the region 0f 350Hp+ and have no issues getting the power down(and thats without a diff). its all about how you use the throttle and power.

if you use 1st gear to get you rolling then short shift into 2nd they grip and go. (no harder than doing it with our little k03's yet are boasting nearly 100Hp more, just a diffrent style required) Provided you know how to feather the throttle in and not use it as an on off switch that sorto of power is fine.

Also consider this new RS500 would have a bigger set of tyres, therefore a bigger contact patch, they could quite easily fit a more aggressive style of diff and all sorts.

nice car but tbh too much power for fwd

the way petrol prices are and the taxes on them I cant see that mate, large engined cars(2.5 l) are gonna be a thing of the past imo, just think its 400+ road tax now for the 2.5 v6 MG ZS. small really. now a days you need a small 1.2 just so you dont pay shed loads on fuel and tax!

I think the Focus RS is a mint lookin car. I not too keen on the 5 cylinder sound tho. doesnt sound as good as the 2.0 scoobi STi worble or as smooth as a V6. and a V8 is just the ultimate sound along with the 6.0 AM V12..... wet pants just thinkin of it...

Ive read some place that the new RS is going to have a small engine in it along wi an electric one to make it 300bhp cant remember where but I saw some pics and OMG it looks stunning.
