New high beam light switch which lets the lever automatically return to the original position when the lights are switched on/off

3 spoke MFSW for manual trasmission on elegance and l&k

new colours available - pacific blue (replaces dynamic blue) and safari metallic (scout only)

MDI update of its compatibility

daylight with led function for scout

rear reading lights removed from S and SE

New fonts and change of text on Columbus

GMS III premium - new functionality of bluetooth

new alloys

Other changes later in the year - Updates to Bolero and Swing radios

GSMIII does that mean it would work with the iphone

No, GSM III is the rSAP bluetooth kit. You want GSM II to work with the iPhone (unless they have updated GSM III so that it's no longer rSAP only)

Sweet, just got my build date - Week 31 (ordered car on Monday). :smirk:

Other changes later in the year - Updates to Bolero and Swing radios

Wonder if that includes a DAB tuner option like VW have offered for years? (will soon be needed for when the national and regional FM & MW radio broadcasts cease.)

This sounds like it should please a number of iPhone users:

Octavia MY11

SOPCW22/10

New GSM III + functionality

• HFP -Hands Free Profile, now possible to connect almost all commercially available mobile phones

(rSAP is not necessary)

• A2DP - Audiostreaming (music via Bluetooth in full quality, from phone, MP3 player, notebook or PDA)

1. Enhanced voice control

2. Reading text messages

3. Reading phonebook

• Detection of requested name and assign it to a stored contact (it is not necessary to pre-record the

name)

NB - Lists of compatible phones will be distributed as and when we have received

them from the factory

This is taken from the Skoda MY11 overview for the Octavia (it also applies to the Superb as well).

Where is the source for all of this Skoda news? I'd love to keep up to date..

Why do people do this on forums? Announce something then only spill the beans when enough people ask? Is it attention seeking of some sort?

Anyway, will be interesting if the bolero update results in retro-fittable firmware update to existing Bolero :)

Good point Dodgy - surely a firmware update is all that's needed to improve existing Boleros?

Interesting.

Now, is that going to be a hardware upgrade or a software upgrade that can be retro-fitted?

Attachment shows what standard and optional lighting will be in a graphical format.

No pictures of new colour, only info is that it's called Safari (sounds exotic!)

Can someone confirm GSM III is SW upgradable to GSM III+ please? Cheers.

Thanks jlwah. Will a Scout ordered now have these changes ?

I would guess that if you order one now it's build week is likely to be after Wk22. As the LED's are an option, you'll need to make sure the dealer knows the option code and adds it to the order.

Thank bloody god!

The Bolero's software is ****, it needs an update...

I just hope because of this, the dealers can hand out firmware updates to customers whom already have their cars with the none updated versions.

I say this only because Audi did this last year, when they had a firmware update for their Nav systems...it was easy to do too, CD from dealer, put it in and it does the update for you.

Very interesting, does the MFSW include bluetooth? where can we see the new alloys? what date are you guaranteed to get these changes if you place an order?

Many thanks.

Don't think MFSW includes BT as standard.

These changes take place for WK22 build and beyond. If you place an order now, your build week is likely to be somewhere around week 26, assuming you don't get a cancelled order, so it will include these changes.
