no worries fella

no ones a muppet you have just been fed some bull**** or mis understood what they was saying

LOTS OF BULL**** with the sounds of it lol anyways why got everyones attention on here pmsl does anyone know where you can get a center section for milltek system from cat to axle pipe 2.5 inch pipe some knob sold me this and is not replying to emails so thought i would try n source the bit myself

i thought the standard turbo unit on the octy was a ko3 not the ko3s ............. ko3s have ko4 internals in them , anyway the ko3 will be pushed to the 250 mark where as ko3s as ive been told starts at 225 as per the audi tt and cupra r use them , so if u have a ko3s it will go alot more than 245 bhp cupra n audi use ko4 but they stuck these internals in a ko3 housing

All Mk1 (standard) vRS's came with the K03s. No exceptions. You have a K03s, unless you've had it changed.

A K03s is based on a K03 (same compressor, turbine and bearing housings), but it has a K04 compressor wheel.

Early 150bhp 1.8T's: K03

Late 150bhp 1.8T's: K03s

All 180bhp 1.8T's: K03s

All 225bhp 1.8T's: K04

The most I've heard of from a K03s is 250bhp with nitrous! I think most of the Stage 2 modded cars typically see about 220-230bhp maximum.

Oooops too slow!! Clive beat me to it! :D

your info is prob better bodge as you are the turbo man B)
