Just picked mine up yesterday - also in Corrida Red.

The dealer was fantastic - the car was presented in perfect condition and the handover was thorough (I just wanted the keys - to get going!!!)

Another pic below.

I noticed a few things about my car - that the brochure was not clear on:-

1) The front and rear seats are embossed with the vRS logo.

2) The spare wheel is a full sized alloy.

Also the dealer fitted a CAT1 alarm system and transferred the SatNav from my old car to the new one, 1 year RFL, half a tank of fuel - and all for

Jane

Welcome the both of you.

They certainly seem to be the performance bargain of the century. So much so, I considered chopping the little beast in against one.

That was till I got insurance quotes! 22yo, 4years ncb and living in London - wait for it -

They are coming through thick and fast. I took delivery of mine yesterday, in black. I

shush , don't let the 4X4 owners hear you say that , they will get jealous .

Some of them actually believe that they own the ultimate Skoda , and trying to convince them otherwise is not easy :D

It's probably best to humour them and say that they are equally as good - but we know differently ;)

I won't have anything said against 4X4/estate owners, there is one thing they have over the RS owner they paid the ultimate price, umm not something I wound really shout about.

I think i'll go and hide know. ;)

Just to change the string slightly when I picked my vRS the dealer said that Skoda were going to discontinue the 4x4

Mmmmm... Corrida Red. Looks very nice!

While I like the idea of the Whooshy sound, isn't it less efficient to have the DV venting to atmosphere? Or am I imagining things?

ffelan.. glad you like it..

I'll keep an eye for ya.

(and if it's on a country road, I'll even go easy on you ;))

Ah, the RS \ 4x4 debate - briskoda wouldn't be the same wothout it :D

It overtook me on the motorway...

[prepares for battle ;) ]

As you may know, Des, I paid considerably less than I would have for an RS, and used the extra money to mod it into a stealth RS - and pleased with it too!

Out-of-the-box the RS would be the best pick, I agree, but you actually seem to think it's an embarrassment to modify a car to one's liking...

"Mod up my 4X4 like an RS please sir." That's my motto! :D

It didn't come with a vRS body kit now, did it? :D

Q.

It looked like a bog standard 1.4 Classic. They must've removed the bodykit... :D
