The new scirrocos sometimes wear very similar turbine style wheels, they'd look pretty decent too.

If nothing else you could jack the front wheel up, put it in first gear and use it as a fan.

They are called vw interlagos alloys and they look the muts nuts IMHO!

Dwight (DC18) has them on his Mk1 Octavia vRS, gen ones aswell, look sweet.

i do like yours! being the MK2 GTI fan i am, but i dont personally like them on the car :S but like you say, 'Each to ther own'

Plus tyres cost a lot more, plus sidewalls get more easily damaged, plus wheel more easily get knocked... erm... etc...

I have to say though, Impreza on 225/35x18s runs more smoothly than the Fabia on 205/45x16s! Alloy engine and reasonable suspension travel vs tall iron block and a truck gearbox!

i know after seeing tht photo shop its a no go on those alloys.

I woulld like something different but something which will suit the car.

i would love to go and get my current ones refurbed but the fact my car will be out of action again and i really need to replace one of them. i may as well replace them and use my current as 'winter wheels'
