Air turned blue in car park yesterday

Featured Replies

Seems like everybody and his brother (or her sister) was out shopping yesterday. The local car park was choc-a-bloc, but I eventually managed to squeeze into a space next to a trolley drop off/pick up area. It had railings on top of a low brick wall. I thought "must remember that wall on my way out" (you can see where this is going, can't you?)

Anyway, after fighting my way around the shops (only wanted a few odds and ends of groceries), I got back to the car. Just room to squeeze out from the parking space...turn left...crunch...oh

Mike, if that door's not dented badly, you might get away with a localised smart repair I think, especially as it can be blown in and up to the side moulding.

Ask when your chosen man comes 'round what he thinks of the sill. MAY be possible to salvage it with a bit of 'gobbo'.

Specialist repair on the alloy too I'd think.

Bit difficult to get a crystal clear idea from the piccy, but doesn't look too bad

Yep. local indeoendant coachbuilders too should be able to fix that cheaply

Hi KLB,

I have just been looking at the piccys and it seems the worst part to repair is the sill as they are very strong indeed. Ideally it should be pulled out first by a dent puller and then filled. I personally wouldn't bother with a smart repair on the door, just let them do it as the same time as the sill i.e the door looks to be the easy part.

And as for the wheel lots of companys have sprung up lately that offer smart repairs and re furbs at your home/workplace, just have a look in the yellow pages or online. ;)

Ouch I did that too my old Pug 306 was npt happy :( Went to Peugeot that'll be
