Fabia v Yaris

Featured Replies

IMHO i wouldn't touch a Renault....and I have owned them before. I have a real thing for the interior plastics, and they ain't up to much in Renaults, be it a Sport or whatever. In fact, they ain't up to much in most cars, take Ford for instance, just rattley hard brittle plastic in all models. Now, whilst i agree that the Fab vRS interior isn't quite up to say, my previous mk4 Golf, it's still miles better quality than a lot of other makes. Crappy cheap plastics IMO make the whole car feel part finished, like they ran out of budget and moulded the dash from the melted plastic of a few kids toys.

And by the way, still think the Yaris looks like a Midwife's car :)

But guess which car the midwife who visited us drove? :D

You own am Octy and a Smart, which do you prefer ?

I would guess before you answer, that you prefer the car you need to do the job required at that instance. i.e you use your smart mainly for town work, and your Octy for distance.

I'll probably get a kicking for this, but I'd say the smart. :D

The Octavia is faster, more refined, less susceptible to crosswinds, has more toys, etc. but it's pretty boring compared to the smart and filling it up with fuel is more depressing.

The smart is more fun, feels better put together, and doesn't keep breaking sensors.

If I didn't ever need to carry more than one passenger, I doubt I'd still own the Skoda... :)

Thanks for the replays. I think I have made my mind up beforeI singn on the dotted line.

If you really want to compair cars what do you think of the Clio (with me owning one at present) v the Fabia.

If I had of known what I know now I would of bought a Skoda ranther than a Renault. The Skoda probably would of been much more reliable than the Renault.

The Renault has been into the garage about 10 times in 6 months. 5 timea for the same problem' date=' a sweek on the steering wheel.

Thanks

Sorry that was a bit of a stupid reply.
