not every one has a huge budget and things can be done on the cheap if you pick the right parts and actually look around a bit instead of following the crowd!

Right parts......totally agree.

Wrong info.....I've already briefly outlined in post #23 how to spec an air to air intercooler to achieve 475bhp, but if you cant understand basic engineering calc's, then you most prob wont understand the explination as to why its the wrong info (apart from the CPR), no offence intended

but the spec bit was for you yes, so i ask again whats wrong with the spec he has chosen, if you state theres something wrong then at least back it up with what you know then, we can all benifit

Cheap parts are cheap for a reason unless they are top quality second hand cheap which is still a risk when you are trying to build a car for 400+ BHP.

Agree we all don't have to go down the dearest route, but a tried and tested route is a less risk route.

Good to be different agreed so no knocking anyone for that.

We can all try cheap DIY with a car that we may wish to get 20+ BHP more than the stock but not many folks want to achieve 400+ BHP so that is why few folks have made comments i would guess.
