internet dealers,any good?

Featured Replies

I think they've changed from London now. they deliver anyway for free if you wish.

Correct.

I ordered my Greenline SE from Autoebid. The best price got was from DTD but Auotebide matched the DTD price by reducing their comission by 50%.

In my opion i found Autoebid to be more proffesional and willing to get a sale. The dealer they put my sale through is Skoda in Mansfield.

I have been impressed with how the whole process has gone. I did offer the local dealers the chance to match but they all said they could not match these prices, and didnt even come back to me with a close offer and try to sell their dealership. I wouldn't say using a broker is the 'norm' yet but eventually the dealers will catch up.

So in summary, buying from DTD and autoebid are the same as buying from local dealer, just cheaper but:

have to travel farther

or someone drive it to your door

or you pay 200-250 for transported delivery?

Basically yes but some may transport your car instead of driving it for free.....but if you are saving £3k plus what is a day out on the train, car, coach, plane for at most a couple of hundred quid and you get to run in your new car on the way home!

You are absolutely right. Plus I don't want a big lorry park in front of my working place so everyone knows I'm having a new superb... Too much show off... And plus if most unlikely its odo meter shows more than 20 miles, I'll ask for a full tank of gas home.

Ooh yes meant to say they gave me a full tank of diesel in lieu of delivery. 260mile round trip so war actually up on the deal!

Hope the dealer they will pick is close to Scotland...
