Judging from your profile, i believe our very own BigK is somewhat closer to you than Leeds.
Plus........Briskoda gets a donation.

'electronics unit eh?'

Hmm, all you need is the switch, plug and to make a loom.

Oh and the technical knowhow, hope they have done a few on new Fabia's then' as both myself and K have found out the programming side of things aint the same.

I was about say, big K posted this about cruise on some Fabia vRS.

Apparently they have done it before to a vRS and you need 3 parts unlike the Octavia where you only need two. I trust them as a Skoda dealer gave me their telephone number and recommended them, not sure if the loom is seperate or not but the total cost came to

Don't mention the programming you will have K throwing his boot at his computer.

I too would 100% recommend Big K and the retrofit KK service he offers, the bonus being that briskoda receives a donation for each retrofit done by Big K.

Result everyone is happy :D

briskoda must cost a fair bit of money to keep running, the cost of server hosting / bandwidth must have been scary recently :(

No. That was scrooge control.

dealer said they would do it for 50 but then skoda found out lol

Good for you. I dont want to waste
No no no, don't do that - it's diesel it needs, did nobody tell you?! That could have wiped out your saving, sorting that out!:thumbup:

I'm sure Big K would have told him which fuel to use, and probably not even charged for the advice ;)

fair play to you hell fire got a couple of q's for you

1. Did you get all the parts from a skoda dealer ie. the satlk the wiring loom and the multiplug?

2. has it been fitted yet?

3.what diagnostics gear has the so called fitting garage got?

4.who's programming it skoda dealer or fitter?

thanks k.

Although I to will have KK fitted eventually....give Hellfire a break.

Yes...I know asked K if he would offer this as a Briskoda package...along with Denis initially but....we've got to respect peeps decisions.

I also know that we're only giving good, known advice and it would help out Brisky but there you go........

You give people all the info they need and then it's upto them to make their own decision.

If it all goes wrong K is still around to sort it at the original asking price and everyones happy again. ;):D
