A Rosso Brunello '62 plate has turned up in work's car park today. A 110 2x4 SE as far as i can tell. Looks good in the sun.

How different is this to your Muscovado?

Fred

Colourwise? Very different, as it's a much denser colour. I'm not so keen on it in cloudy conditions but it has real impact when it's sunny (as do the dark blue & green metallics), and seems to have much more depth to the finish. Colours like Muscovado and Steel grey (and the new Shark blue) show up the shape and contours well regardless of the lighting, but don't necessarily have the wow factor in full sun.

The car has been there the rest of the week, so it may be a regular fixture. I know one chap who was interested in getting one, but it's not his.

Yetis definitely attract yetis. Coming to the end of a 3000 mile drive and seen about 12 in total, mainly in Italy. However, twice I've returned to a car park to find another parked right next to it! Tonight I've just gone to get something from the car and there's a Dutch Roomster next to it!

I have spotted my first 63 plate yeti, I think adventure, in grey on the road to Louth this morning at 10.30........

Had my first Yeti wave at 6.15pm yesterday I was driving away from Crosby a White Yeti was driving in opposite direction. I flashed she waved i waved

I spotted four yeti in Portree this morning within a few hundred yards of each other. None of which I've seen before so may be some tourists.

Also got my first yeti wave from one of them as they don't normally do that up here  :hi:

Red 59 plate parked round the corner from

me in Wallington. Not sure if a visitor or whether mines got a new play mate!

Not sure if anyone saw me broken down on the A19 today (Wynyard junction), a couple of 13-plate Yeti's definitely weny by....one red with a black roof, another white with black roof, possibly an Adventure.

One of the Coastguard Service Yeti's, doing a very sensible job of blocking access around a manhole cover that is "venting".

Never, ever, drive over a manhole that is doing that, as they can either "blow" or be displaced leaving a hole.

Oban appears to be Yeti-Central from what I saw, about 2 weeks ago. Within 5 mins of stepping out of the B&B for a wander along the sea front, I saw 6 of them!

A few more on Mull too, including one parked up at the Forestry Commission offices. Ones seen on Mull included a white Greenline, a maroon one, a silver one with a dent on the rear door (was in the same condition last year), a grey one and a dark blue one. Seen at various locations across the Isle, often several times.

Mine was brilliant once more up there, only suffering one mishap with it bottoming out, when trying to turn out of a very steep side road, on to another going up hill.

Even took some photos of it around the Isle, which I'll air on the other thread soon.

Harrogate seemed like "Yeti Central" yesterday afternoon! Saw 4 in the space of 10 mins. Then followed a blue TDi 4x4 Monster out Northwards up the A61 to Ripon.  Thought at first it might be BobbyG, till I got closer and discovered it was on Scottish plates.

Spent 2 days in Tallinn, Estonia earlier in the week.  Didn't spot a single Snow Monster!

Put a tumble drier on Freegle the other day and the person who collected it has recently bought a white 140bhp 4x4.

Mind you, he did turn up in a Defender.

I passed going the other way, a very rare anthracite grey Yeti SE in Stamford Bridge during the week; realised to late it was another Monster to say hello.

**10 YET - bronze 170 Tdi 4x4 - 9.40am today (Saturday) - heading up the A10 towards Cambridge.

Two today, black one on the A27 heading in the opposite direction to me and silver one in the BP on the A23 just outside of Brighton.

Saw this one a few times today...

One day Mr Flintstone, one day....

There was a black Yeti parking in High St, Llani earlier this afternoon.

Wonder if it was my stalker? :giggle:  :whew:

Spotted 14 in a week around Buxton, Bakewell and Matlock,  - none of them blue!!! SWMBO is tickled at the thought of my 'waving' from later in the week!! Didn't like to practice from her Zafira!

Blue / grey on A64 eastbound around 15:20

Two westbound around same time

Plus a black one one a bridge over the A64

Would have waved but was in the Octi pulling the caravan !

7 today around Matlock, including an almost matching Muscavado at Bromford lights (much to my relief the driver and registration were different).
