Think thats correct, but even if he isnt he will have something thats still good, as well as something no-one can take away from him...honest and bull**** free advice.

As for the car, I think silver is the easiest to keep clean and mark free compared to other colours.

Yeah, from I heard he's making his own treatments now, and people can't tell the difference between that and Swissol.

I read the thread title, and was about to suggest whiting (powdered chalk, not fish). Apparently, it's what the professionals use to polish silver. I wouldn't recommend it for your car, though

A good difference in cost? :rubchin:

D'yknow if he sells the products without his tuition?

Magic Black's dreadful! I've given mine it's first polish now - used Autoglym since that's what I generally use on cars and it's come up well - let's see how it lasts...

Yes to both

The Swissol wax kit made a fantastic job of my wee furby, that and kenny's good old elbow grease.

You lot must be mad if you spend

the more expensive ones last a lot longer therefore often work out cheaper.

unless your name is Q. ;)

Polish has abbrassives in it...I believe...so you can get swirl marks on dark colours.

I have the Concors wax and the car comes up fantastically shiny. Has Teflon in it as well. Car is easier to wash especially the alloys.

Autoglym is very lightly abrasive but if you put it on lightly as I did the results are very good and there's no evidence of swirl whatsoever.

I think swirl marks, which I've never had on any car, are more likely caused by power polishers.

I still can't believe anyone would spend so much money on wax though...

I used to think that way too, until i got a Swissol kit.

I've lost count of the number of times i've waxed the car since i got it, and i've hardly used any of the wax. Chances are i'll have the pot of wax longer than i have the car :D

I have never power polished any of my cars and have always got swirl marks with other waxes/polishes, Swissol doesnt.

Yes Swissol is expensive, but then the results speak for themselves, and over time the cost factor is balanced out by the fact it lasts so long as you need to use so little compared to Autoglym or similar.
