Hi to everyone on the forum. Found your site today and thought i'd give it a try.

Had our vRS since last April and have loved every mile we've driven.

Still get out of the car with a silly grin on our faces!!!!!!!!

Claim to fame - our vRS was the 1 millionth Fabia produced.

That's the one. The wife and I where taken to Prague by Skoda UK for the presentation day. Car was presented by chairman of VAG and chairman of Skoda in front of the workforce.

Stayed in Prague for a few days and Skoda really looked after us.

I remember seeing the pic in a few car magazines, and that it was a Right Hand Drive UK car.

Did they do the presentation at the Customer centre next to the factory / museum ?

After reading about it in Autocar I was wondering if the owner was on the site.

Welcome!

The presentation took place on the end of the production line. The line was stopped and all the workforce attended together with the Czech press and radio.

It was quite an occasion. I was presented with the keys to the car, model of the vRS and a collection of Skoda history books and my wife with some flowers. We then had a tour of the plant and museum.

I think we all had better get our coats........

Now we have a genuine celeb on here there will be no argueing with this guy... He has the killer line " Well mine is the 1 Millionth Skoda Fabia " arguement dead. :P

O.K. what mods would you like to do.

Welcome :wavey:

What would you suggest Steve? totally standard at present.

200 brake sounds nice though. If I could pursuade the wife!!

Andy

Posting for less that an hour and thinking of mods already

This site should carry a Government Wealth warning :D

I'm very glad that Skoda took some trouble to celebrate the 1 millionth car. Not sure what other manufacturers do. Is the car identified in any way? A plaque or similar?

Andy

Depends on wot you can hide :),

I have Greens panel filter, found the original air filter, seemed to starve the engine of air.

Also have a 1 click, and had to put on a Cupra intake, as with the std intake the back of the car was always dirty with soot.( soot now severely reduced).

Would definately suggets the panel filter, a search on the site will give you good advice on purchase and maintenance.

The rest is up to how you want the car to perform, and how much you want to spend.

Personally I do 18k motorway miles p.a. so dont need uprated & lowered suspension. If I can get the cash would like the brakes to go with the 1 Click.

Chekout remaps, Jabba seem to be getting approx 195BHP, without, uprating addtional Hardware in the engine.

Hope you enjoy your car

No there isn't any unique markings to show that it's the 1 millionth. Just the replica model of the car which is marked up as the 1 millionth.

Steve

Many thanks for the advice.

Are right about the std intake as the back of the car does get very sooty.

I shall spend some time looking through the site as you suggested.

We're really enjoying the car. We feel it's the best car we've ever bought and so far it's been 100% reliable. Some friends of ours liked it so much they went and bought one themselves.

Andy

Keep us all posted, if you do any Mods ( even the basics ).

Hopefully you'll get to a meet in you area, and someone can post a piccy of the face that goes with the car.

Welcome Andy, we are indeed privelidged!

Did they let you drive it home from the factory on trade plates, or did it have to go through the 'normal' channels?
