Cut it into a shape resembling the armrest

Add some iron on sticky wonder web

Get them both on the ironing board

Then get the iron nice and hot and iron it to the top of the armrest

Then use a hot glue gun to tidy up the inside

Looks like a pint of guiness haha. Are they easy to fit?

Easily the best armrest in Any Fabia vRS ever! So impressed mate!

The more I read it the more I was thinking "oh dear this isn't going to come out well" BUT it actually looks pretty good! You'll never see another one and it ties in nicely with the seats!

2 vw sharan units. Wired intp the courtesy light then put some SMD leds in.

For future reference - spray-on upholstery glue is great for jobs like this. Looks great!

As good as it may be, its too messy, hardly ever completely sticks and never lasts the life of the product. And thats from experience.

Maybe you've had a duff brand but I use it to re-upholster vintage bicycle saddles with new leather and am still riding a bike which has been used daily for 3 years in all weathers with my big ass shifting about on it. Hasn't budged and I've not had to use staples or hot melt to keep the fold-overs at the edges from lifting. I guess we've had different experiences.

That looks fu****g ace!

I'm well impressed with that! If there was a good supply of damaged seat covers you could make a killing they look that good :)

just infront of that in the rectangular bit. I didnt use the mount as it didnt fit but instead removed the console bit and used self tappers.Very sturdy fix aswell. I did this for someone else. Its a kind of cross section to show the screwing etc so theyre all hidden.(its a bit crap but you get the idea!)
