See Colin's new filter is working!

****ing **** isnt it!

Are there any clio related sites where users are able to use english properly? ;)

Paul - do you want me to add to your warning level? :D

................

that bloke says his rover is wau quicker than a vRS, but its just a 2.0 with filter and exhaust

Rover 220 is supposed to do 0-60 in around 7.7-7.9 secs, so similar to a standard vRS......................until you meet the first corner :) .

If comments on other boards from clio/nova/chavy types get on your wick just bear this in mind...........

The Octy can carry 3 mates plus as much luggage as they can carry at the same time, and in reasonable comfort :D

Afraid he is always going to stuff us poor boys in the silver ones carrying the golf clubs.I've got no chance

is that the 220 turbo or 220 N/A that hits it in 7.?, hang on top gear to the rescue.

stupid thing lists the same figures for both cars, useless!!

Sounds like a quick little clio....

would have him in the twisties

Think he's got the turbo one,

fair enough if he has a turbo just didn't look like it

PMSL at this

they aint bad cars the vRS' not super dooper tho

*-*-*Gazza B--Escort RS Turbo (All 205 horses of it)!!!*-*-*

Hmm me thinks he needs to have a re-think considering what he drives *cough* Dagenham dustbin *cough*.

Sorry, but as per Scoobynet we are disappearing up our own "bottoms".

So Mr Fangio, your 235bhp, 1340kg car is quicker than a 345bhp, 1500kg car? OK, 174bhp/tonne plays 230bhp/tonne. Not disbelieving you for a minute but 1 question though, what colour is the sky in your world?

So Mr Fangio, your 235bhp, 1340kg car is quicker than a 345bhp, 1500kg car? OK, 189bhp/tonne plays 230bhp/tonne. Not disbelieving you for a minute but 1 question though, what colour is the sky in your world?[/quote']

Sorry, but it's a very valid comment - was thinking along the same lines ie. "How, exactly?!"

Who's Mr Fangio???????

How many guesses do you need? ;)

Just remember if it's good enough for a footballer to put his name to it will whip a Skoda

:rubchin: If you mean me, then you missed the sarcasm in my post... maybe you'd have to be a scoobynet regular to get it tho......

New readers start here:

Scooby owners \ scoobynet posters are well known for saying that anything light and quicker than them, especially clio's, would be "taken in the twisties"... It's become such a a regular thing that people use it knowing full well that the car in question would whup them, but mocking those who first trawled it out...

(and it would be 150bhp and 1500kg :D)

No Sterling ;) I didn't mean you, I was refering to Mr Fangio in his Silver Octavia vRS,1stSept '03

:D

Yes but you forgot to add in the extra weight of Fangio's ICE install...

and his ego :D

;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Alex, this is a joke, just in case you take offence :)
