Good thing with digital lee is you can take a hundred pics to get a good one when your learning, and its not costing you anything other than time and patience .

Nice.   Camera people tend to fall into two main categories...   Canon people and Nikon people.

 

Im in the Nikon camp and have been since about 1987 

My God, it's full of stars...

Having a quick play around with the ISO, f/ and shutter speed. Soooo convenient to be able to adjust them all from the comfort of the sofa using the app

There’s a phone app called Stellarium I use for when I’m not sure what I’m looking at up there. It’s free, and fascinating 🧐

A few from yesterday evening's walk - a colourful end to the day🙂

 

 

Spotted at Rufford this evening - never seen so many goslings in one family !!

 

We watched them swim all the way across the lake in a perfect straight line, with one parent at the front and the other at the back. 

 

They've done incredibly well to hatch that many!

 

 

Couple of photos of some Cygnets down at the local park plus some bonus shots of the newest resident of the home 😂

 

 

 

 

 

There is a Swan nesting just behind a local restaurant - Mum was on the nest this evening, but we got a quick peak at one of the cygnets (several eggs still in the nest). So many rats!

 

The duck was an odd one - constantly staring at me, with it's head tilted to one side. Was quite disconcerting😬
