A couple of the shots I got last weekend at the National Tramway Museum in Crich, Derbyshire during an evening running event. I was walking past Sheffield car 510 (The last Sheffield Tram used in 1960) and saw the conductor sat having a break. I knew I had to get the shots and had a gritty dark 1950/60s style in my head..... I think they've both come out well and how I wanted.

Interestingly that's the tram that, in days gone by, would have gone up Abbey Lane past the end of the road we used to live on given the route info above the conductors head.

Yep it certainly would have. I’m a Millhouses lad myself lived just off Archer Road.

I was born up the road - just into Ecclesall, moved to Beauchief after getting married and now in Bradway.  It's a small world!

Plasterer turned up last week and rendered the extension. Had a tidy up and put the fence back up. Looking more complete new guttering and some painting left to finish the outside. We also managed to save the old front doors and use internally which was quite pleasing, not least the £500+ saved for new doors.

Hi Lee. You haven’t missed a post as such other than a couple of images of the roof when we finished it as it was quite a mission. It’s more project material than photography so I don’t normally post here except if I’m feeling except pleased with myself🤣 It’s a cemetery gatehouse in the Scottish Borders. Last used by the council for their park keepers etc. We’re extending and converting it. Doing most of the work ourselves.

At Clumber Park (still a few to locate ) :

Nice. We're on our own project here in Germany transforming SWMBOs mother's old house. Nightmare at times (one of us is a stickler for details and I'm not) but wish you all the best with your project 👍

Caught a sparrowhawk eating it's catch in the garden. Dusk through a window didn't help.

Aptly named are sparrowhawks. Not much left of it's prey.
