Nice detail in the contrast around the terminator.

I've been to Locomotion museum up in Shildon this week and took lots of pics. I like these 2 I took outside and edited. Both taken with my OM10 mk3 with kit lens. Colour selected with OM Workshop, then finished in Gimp.

Rainy morning kitchen window sparrowhawk.

Knockhill Rally event. Starting to get used to the camera, A firmware update seems to have made the focusing less unpredictable Found a panning assist mode too which works best in shutter priority mode. The weakest link was me with remnants of man flu and a sleepless night and it was bloody cold!

A visit to the heart of Snowdonia yesterday…

I went for a mooch around Dungeness, where it was bright and sunny with a light haze.  Flipping cold breeze though 🥶  I used to go sea fishing there, back in the late '70's:

 

 

Stopped off on the way back to eye up some birds.  Pretty sure I saw a Marsh Harrier, but no photo coz I was driving.  Had I known how close I'd been (about 300 yards away) I'd have gone and had a look at the WW2 Sound Mirrors - gives me an excuse to go back when it's a bit warmer.

A favourite spot of ours. The only official desert in the uk. Enjoy popping along there for a bit of photography with the hoards. Then getting fished out on lobster rolls at the shack, fish and chips at the Pilot, and a splurge at the fishmongers opposite. Has to be done though takes me a while to get over it tbh 😀

Not able to walk far currently, so was chauffeured in my own car!

Ventured up to Edinburgh by train to pick up some vinyl. Just after the covers for framing and hanging. Anyone want some sleeveless records??🤣🤣 grabbed a couple of shots with the camera phone.

@B33fy wow that was some trip just to get the record sleeves, they must have been something really special to justify the time and expense of going that distance, could have asked them to post them to you, no?

Didn’t go too far Graham, been in the Scottish Borders the last couple of years, converting a property. Didn’t fancy risking the post in case they were damaged. Needed the break from the work anyhow. Though after the train and fighting my way along Princess Street I need another day off! 

Lovely sunset this evening and The Moon and Venus were bright in the sky ✨

 

 

 

 

Flew over this morning - looked for a moment like it was taking our neighbours chimney pot with it!

 

 

My Daughter's currently in Switzerland, 3km up:

She says it's -4ºC, but feels quite warm.
