ever wonder where all those antlers go every year

i lived near dunham deer park, in cheshire, and the rangers gave us a talk on deer management, culling, meat processing etc

you could at certain times get venison stew in the restaurant...!!

after trekking those woods for years i never found a set of antlers...guess the rangers cleaned them up before opening time

seems a waste doesnt it!!

Been a few dull days.. managed to catch a bit of sunshine at Hastings the other day, was gong to take a few landscape shots, found a motorbike instead.

Thanks Geof, appreciated. New lens helps a bit, picked up a 100-400 L series lens over Xmas, though to be fair the 70-300 l series lens is a nice price of kit, should let it go but quite fond of it. Got another game tomorrow, hoping for some better light. Will post up a few pickings..

i think that was a sunset maybe...but i played around with the tone slider on black to white conversion and it brought that up...didnt know black to white still had tone data in the digital info...but it does

when i saw the result anyway....i left it to make it seem eerie...and as you pointed out more of a volcano effect

not taken any shots recently so i am bashing up some of my oldies to experiment with....ah rubbish!!!
