Just taken with a sigma 105 mm macro lens at f2.8 ,1/250th shutter ,handheld one single shot 

 I keep thinking about getting into macro, but knowing me I'd end up going mad for a few weeks then getting bored, followed by the lens collecting dust for 6 months until I see a picture like your's and then going mad again for a few weeks   I should really save up for a bit white prime...:D

Have a go its really facinating but also difficult you loose alot more shots that are rubbish than good ones ,or maybe thats just me haha some macros that you see on flickr etc are amazing and lots of shots stacked on each other

I've seen quite a few focus stacked images and they are awesome, but suspect I wouldn't have the patience for it
