The Dash cam is forward of the rear view mirror, these are not from the dash cam.

Taken on a Nikon KeyMission 170.

Like my Keymission 180 it can be set on time lapse or video, and records or sends to a phone, can be set at what ever interval as well as used with the Remote which i use on Bikes.  Velcro handlebar mount on the steering wheel of what ever that might not have a dash cam, and a camera mount on the dash.

More pictures of you driving down the middle of the road...…& almost the opposite side of the road just to get a nice picture?...

& for the record your original post above was:-

{Comment removed by Staff}

So remote controls for camera & having a dash & another camera on the front windscreen also...you have created a very "distracting" environment...

NOT safe or clever for a driver IMHO....

Still pics and video, catch those car d!cks from the Moray Firth area that think they are driving gods.

Do you consider changing gears manually, dipping the lights, indicating, picking your nose as distractions?

Bluetooth on the steering wheel,  so that is as simple as it gets.  Not rocket science and not driving a manual, just rolling along singing a song watching for falling debris or those in the inside lane taking a swerve as they speak on their hands free.

my kia rio had steering wheel buttons for radio and cd...vol etc...didnt really like it and it did give me some struggles at times

guess i wasnt use to modern set ups

now its the fabia climatronic controls which take my eyes off the road...

time will tell and i think i will get used to the radio/cd being down below the climatronic

cheers

@fabdavrav  You are never off your side of the road on empty roads, you are at the verge all the way on the A939?

Doubt it.

I am always on my side of the road, unless there is a big hole/deer etc & I have to take avoiding action...

I don't do "racing lines"...……

main reason:- you end up a worse driver as you end up knowing the road by "cutting the corners"...what happens when there is car on the other side & you have got used to driving that road & taking those corners on the other side??..

I've had people come at me because of this attitude...racing lines are for race tracks NOT the public highway.....& you can still drive "briskly" even keeping to your side of the road...just requires more skill as you have to deal with the corner properly...

Maybe it's time to concentrate on the actual photos instead of needless other - now edited - banter clogging up the thread? B)

I am driving slow.  Obviously.

On your bike!   I am used to driving the same roads since i was 13 years old.  Taken on them since year 0.

Seen loads like you, driving gods.

Remember all your previous posts, all these private roads you drive briskly.

You read but did not understand what I posted above....& yes I am fully aware of what I have stated over the years on here....just you don't understand that one can drive very briskly without taking racing lines & cutting corners...it does however require more skill & concentration & a car that is set up appropriately...& stating you have been driving the roads for years is not a guarantee of quality of driving…

Anyway we have a separate thread about dash cam footage/stills etc. & maybe those pictures might be more appropriate in there??

Anyway to get this thread onto the topic of "photography"..if I see a nice view, I find a nice safe parking spot..& walk back to where I can safely compose & take a picture...as that is the idea...….to compose a nice picture.....like this:-

P.S. picture is straight out of camera..only work was the signature & reduction for web..& yes I took it full frame 4/3 as it can be cropped to suit later on if required.

Thanks Geof, haven’t bothered with the papers yet, just after improving photography skills. Might start submitting a few, if someone else does the match write up, and see how I get on.

difficcult to say here, old chap...all rear views and no apparent action

if the chap on the left was a persona perhaps would be better to crop the shot in half...keep left half as a portrait study

however the back shots do give a bit of info about charlton park and shepherd neam as supporting firms

cheers

Yep get what you are saying Geof. Won’t take a further crop. Quite a heavy crop and grainy anyway Geof due to poor conditions.. Pete gives it all hence quite liking his expression.

Really pleased with the way these came out. Very bright conditions.
