the key to macro really since its a bit scientific is the use of a tripod

though i have never been able to do natural history with one....for flowers you can get wind and just as you set up the tripod the animal moves off or changes position

really though macro by hand held does benefit from an artistic form being un-focussed in parts...stops it from being too clinical

got the 6 right on...

thats a rather large thing on the back...is it for holding cameras

1/25 sec shutter speed a bit tricky so don’t do it often. A bit too much blur for some. As long as the numbers good to go, why not.
