Fantastic snaps, Colin. Haven't been to the Lake District since 2008. Used to spend a lot of time with my family down in a lodge thing beside Lake Windermere. :)

Surprisingly busy for almost mid November!

And one more. Bit of a challenge to get in a position where I could take this shot!398546866_IMG_20211114_1526532_edit_1560862919850362.thumb.jpg.aac48eacbdc948f2c58a4b5f53997cde.jpg

We had the same clouds in yorkshire this morn

Came across a bit of a commotion in a neighbour's garden earlier. The crows and magpies in the surrounding trees were making a tremendous racket!!

Certainly sad for the pigeon, but remarkable to see the the bird of prey in action close-up.

Just a shame I didn't have my camera with me.IMG_20211120_142458_edit_206575882576291.thumb.jpg.e060722d7cbb07275a7e78c38ee19b7f.jpg

Any thoughts what the bird of prey might be?

Looks like a Goshawk to me.

I agree Mick, looking again, it's way too small for a Goshawk.
