As we near the shortest day, I've got to give the little rose I got Sally for her Birthday in March 10/10 for effort as it came into bloom again at the beginning of the week.  We'd already pruned it back due to a bit of blackspot, but left the last remaining bud.  And sure enough:

The Volvo initially appeared to struggle to move the Mercedes A-Class (much wheel spinning) before one of the bystanders called out 'is the handbrake on?'

I've worked for nearly 40 years ( well 3 weeks a year) next door to the Lyceum and never been in...except once to see what frequencies they had their radio mics on as we were having problems and even then didn't see the full interior 😞  Lovely looking theatre

It's a family tradition here too - 2023 tickets just booked🤞

It was fantastic just to be out at 4:40 and it not be completely pitch black👍
