Arrived back from Zurich at 0100hrs this morning after a 900 mile drive....now I am totally knackered.

Have now got my starter pack , Thanks Mark for the very prompt service .

My only question is regarding the clay bar .............do I really need one or not ?

Yes, its what helps to make the paint really really smooth. Removes the larger imperfections before you use the cleanser which removes the finer stuff. Wash it, clay bar it, wash it again to remove the residue, cleanse it then wax it. First time takes a long time to do the whole process (especially if you are a beginner). I took just over 5 hours. Now a weekly wash takes about 30 mins start to finish and if I wash and wax its about 1 - 1.5 hours.

Swissol-ed my car yesterday.

Took a couple of hours to do but it looks awesome. Looked good after I had applied the cleaning agent but got much deeper after apliying Shield wax. The shine is real good; looks better than when I took delivery. Colour looks as deep as Silver can get.......I know that if I had a darker colour it look even deeper.

Dave (DaveU) if you think my car looked shiny when we went up to Jabba, you should see it now.

Didn't use the clay bar this time around though. The mutli-cleaner is excellent; alloys have nver looked cleaner. Even the inside of them are clean!

If you can afford the initial outlay, it's well worth it.

And the shine gets deeper with each coat of wax

Just polished mine ready for the holiday & yep the shine just gets deeper & its so so so easy to apply & polish off

Tip from Mark, polish the car, leave it in the sun for a couple of hours & then give it another quick lik over with the polishing cloth, It gets better !!!

I assume the wax cures or something
