Not sure, mine were already on when I picked it up

You'll need 581s (PY21W) bulbs (offset pins)

Update

Well white wheels are a bit of a pain so I thought I would give it a go sealing them today, only got 2 done so far but loving the results, hope the brake dust is kept away! I'm using PoorBoys World Wheel Sealant

When I took the wheel off the car :

Quick shot of my front brakes, shiny shiny, gave the arch liner a clean before I refitted the wheel

The finished article

Now to see how easy they are to clean once they get dirty!

looks very good dude ;)

I swear by poorboys sealant. 3 or 4 coats FTW, but it is marvelous stuff.

I'm doing 3 coats on mine, 3 are now done , the 4th is in the house with me being done as we speak

Update

Well after spending a long time sealing the wheels this weekend I decided to give the car a good clean at the jet wash. I finished that off with treating all the glass and using Dodo Juice Red Mist quicker detailer on the paint work. Really happy with the results :

Took this as a few people have mentioned the Skoda name when they found out I bought one, you need to be able to take the mic out of yourself sometimes!

Also did a quick video of controlling the music on the USB stick through the stereo (only one folder on the stick)

Thanks for the video it's much better than I thought it would be.How long did it take you to do the wheels?

Lol too long mate, including washing, removing, refitting and 3 layers of sealant on each wheel..........8 hours total!

Worth it though. I'm hoping to do the same when I get mine even though it's going to take an extra day of detailing to do it all.

There's an idea if my vRS comes before September 1st maybe I could arrange with the dealer so I could seal the wheels while it's there before I collect it. There's enough space there and there's some grass I can safely do it on. Plus I'll save a bit of time in not having to spend too much time in cleaning the wheels since they will be new. I'd like to be driving and enjoying my car on day one.

Update

The tax disc holder the garage put in really didn't look great on the windscreen so I had to change it. I ordered this from the bay of E :

Had a play with the Maxi Dot Display tonight, some good options on there

dials.jpg

Could check all the regular things, consumption, range, time driven etc etc

dials1.jpg

Could have it displaying the song information played on the stereo

dials2.jpg

Or have it displaying the phone information if you have bluetooth

Very nice i have not played with the maxi-dot in my vRS as it stands but it look like it fun :D

Update

Well I've wanted a private plate for yonks and had a bit of spare cash so thought I would treat myself! Most were pretty expensive but I found my one for a bargain (well I think it was a bargain), £255.

Looks lovely, I'm warming to the Mk2 gradually :)

I spy a Revo sticker too. All I think it needs now is a set of Eibach springs to finish it off

Nice mate :)

You had it revo'd then ;)

Not Revo'd as such, it's got the Revo air filter, not the map.

I have been speaking to someone about some suspension for it, really need to sell my MK5 Coils

mk5 ibiza coils not fit the fabia i take it?

Afraid not as the Fabia is based on the MK4 base :(

Very nice looks good

Hi Guys

Been on this site having a snoop round for a little while now with the thought of always buying a MK1 Fabia vRS last year. Unfortunately I ended up buying a Seat Ibiza as I thought it was a "Sensible" car that would see me right for the next 3-4 years, 11 months later I've finally realised that I made a mistake :giggle: .

I did look at getting a MK2 vRS a couple of months back but at the time the girlfriend and I decided it wouldn't be worth the money as we could use it to save for a deposit on a house...............luckily enough she is now the ex and that money is mine to blow as I please

I had run through a lot of options and decided to go for :

Race Blue Metallic Paint

Arm Rest

Electric rear windows

I went down to my local Skoda dealership (Progress Letchworth) and had a chat with the guys down there, they told me (and reading on here) that the car was on a 3-4 month waiting list at the moment, I hate waiting! They did however find that there were 3 cars available at port which I could look at buying, a Rallye Green, a Sprint Yellow and............a Race blue!! The options on the car were :

Race Blue Metallic Paint

White Roof

White Wheels

Bluetooth

I did also manage to get the dealer to agree to fit an armrest for me and chuck in some mats B) . I confirmed I was happy and they put my name against the car and said they would try to get it in before the end of the month for me. It should look like this (Not my pictures just some found on AT) :

My_Spec_Skoda_Fabia_vRS.jpg

My_Spec_Skoda_Fabia_vRS1.jpg

My_Spec_Skoda_Fabia_vRS2.jpg

With the 20% VAT off I managed to get the car for £14K, I can hardly believe the price for the performance! It should also be just as economical as the Ibiza is to run, same tax, same MPG, lower insurance!

Now all I have to do is try and keep busy so the time goes quicker and I can get my hands on my new pride and joy! I hope to speak to you all soon and meet some of you at shows and meets!
