When I were a lad your age I had a Fiat 127 1050cc Sport It was actually a great little car..70hp and didn't weigh too much..handling was go-kart ish..a bit like a mini.but the engine revved like a good un..almost motorbike like !

haha! Yeah tell me about it. Definitely in a fortunate position. I also have the lovely Scottish countryside to fly about in my VRS SO EXCITED!!!!! I feel 10 years old!

I Am 56 In june and have just picked up my Fabia VRS from the dealers, fantastic car and will drive it very keenly, within the law of course. Your never too old.

Just shows you are never too old to be having a bit of fun in a hot hatch

Looks like I am far from the oldest owner !! Didn't think I would be..just interested to see if there were any more out there not in their 20's or 30's

My dad was laughing when I said I was getting a Skoda..He has never been bothered about cars..always a keen biker and until recently had a Kawasaki Gpz900R (at 70!)only giving up the bikes cos of knee problems ..I let him have a spin in the vRS and he is seriously considering trading his Toyota Corolla in for one !!

Yes indeed you are very lucky to be up there..great little car..great Scottish countryside to enjoy !! My job occasionally (not often enough) takes me up to Carlisle and Workington so I have managed to have a bit of a blast round the lakes..I have family in the Langholm/Canonbie area...there are some lovely roads up there too.

I live up past aberdeen (not far past, about 25 miles) and theres one road in particular that I love to blast about on. Goes through a lot of trees then opens up beside a river. Some nice sweeping bends and straights to open it up. Right across the road from my Village too

Car left port of exit a couple of days ago so the car should be in the UK now or very close.

Also go my plate confirmed (Surely this is only given once the car is ready to go to the dealer as I didn't get to choose it?)

Well im 21 and loving the fact im gonna get a vRS hopefully once i get a build week, this past month has killed me waiting but good things come to those who wait so will have to wait . Unfortunately havent got any countryside really to speak of around me unless i drive about 30 miles north which i might have to do when i get the thing

UPDATE

Spoke to my dealer at lunch time and the car is in getting PDI'd!!!!! I've decided to pick it up this evening after work, it won't have the arm rest in though, will be going back in tomorrow lunch for them to fit it.

To say I'm excited is an understatement!

Absolutely spanking car mate, my first VRS test drive was in this colour combo which is excellent but I couldnt get one in my time frame. Enjoy it, it really is the business. Serious thumbs.

Cheers mate, didn't even know the sticker was on there until the sales guy pointed it out! Will try and get some more pics if anyone want specific one

**Oh and for anyone that asked, I have bluetooth prep and DO NOT have the MFSW and it works fine
